These guys have really good kebabs - not low fat but those ones never have any flavor. They also do Turkish pide, not a particularly long list of filling combinations, but they'll do any you ask for.
They also do a Turkish banquet type takeaway thing which is a number of different dishes (including zucchini balls...yum!) for a certain amount per head. I can't remember how much though.
I definitely recommend them :)
This place does your normal takeaway food as well as pizza, but you've got to try their pizza, I reckon it's the best in Canberra! They have a really good range of pizza topping combinations too. My husbands favorite is the Rae St Special.
John gutted and redid our whole bathroom. He sourced high quality products and passed on the low prices. It looks beautiful!

This guy is the best mechanic I've ever come across! His name is Mick and he goes so out of his way to help you without charging an arm and a leg.
Just after we started going to him we needed to get our clutch done and he gave us a price. It ended up taking him more than double the time he'd allowed, but he still only charged us the quoted price.
He's also very good at explaining everything to women and doesn't talk down to you cause you know, you're "just" a woman ;)
The day before my due date with my 2nd baby I noticed something odd with the brakes, so I spoke to him and he said bring it straight in and found a leaking brake fluid hose.
Fairly competitive price, but seems disinterested in helping or actual customer service. Often you don't even get to talk to the mechanic and instead have to deal with his wife who runs a pool shop next door! His workshop is full of pool supplies.
Lovely staff, although it would be nice to have more full time staff for more consistency for the children. Beautiful centre with excellent up to date facilities. Great food for the kids. Price is one of the highest in the area, but worth it I think.
Approximate cost: $80
Pizzas are fantastic. I'm not a fan of spicy pizzas but my sister raves about their Devils pizza, I like their 4 seasons. But my favorite is their Scallopini Pizzaiola...to die for!
The staff here are lovely.. Coffee is standard price and burnt tasting. The savoury nibblies are great, good flavor combination and pretty good price. Sweets are standard, donuts, friends, etc, average quality.
Good Thai food, although chili seems to be added to everything even when you request none. It tends to be a long wait between 2.30 and 1.30 (students lunch hour).
Approximate cost: $8.70
Nice kebabs with juicy meat. Cost is pretty average, it cost us $27 for 3 kebabs (1 was a kids size and 2 had some extras).
