This is a really fun browsing/shopping experience. Matilda Books has some unique and quirky titles unavailable in the larger book franchises. For me, this bookshop represents all that is fantastic about the Adelaide Hills. I love their gardening book collection, which holds unusual titles and some specialist Mediterranean climate works suitable for Adelaide gardening. They also have great gift books and novels, so are a great stop for birthday and Christmas presents.

I love calling into this plant nursery. I normally tell myself that I'm only browsing, but I always seem to buy that irresistible pot or plant, despite the relatively high prices. The quality here is quite outstanding and they offer some of the latest range of plants, shrubs and trees. Their garden ornaments and landscaping ideas are often unique and quirky.

This is very handy servo for the local community. They have extended opening hours so are very convenient for emergency grocery items. Their fuel pricing always seems competitive and the location is excellent and easily accessible. Great overall value.

This salon was quite a pleasant surprise. I managed to get a last minute booking when my regular hair salon was not available. Prices were excellent, service was good and staff were very friendly and professional. I will definitely use this Salon again for my cut, colour and blowwave.

This is now one of our regular shopping haunts for many grocery items. They always have a great range of products and good price specials. Sometimes their own brand of discount priced milk is unavailable, so it would be great if they stocked greater levels.

This is a great local home store, especially if you know what you need and don't need to visit one of the mega-stores for a broader selection. Home Hardware always seems to have what I want and the prices are as good as the mega-stores. I particularly recommend their landscaping supplies. They have a great range of mulches at very competitive prices. Staff are always on hand for advice and service is very efficient.
