We've used Bonnie for our last two tax returns and she is very efficient and experienced. It's a small home office business but that makes it better as she cares about her customers unlike those bigger companies / tax return booths at shopping centres. Bonnie also explains and listens to questions, and her standard return price is only $69 (as of last year's tax season). This is reasonably cheaper than alot of bigger places. We ask her to do extras and she only charges a little extra, so we still save a lot. She does business and individual returns and will also give quotes.

It's hard to find a mechanic who doesn't try to exaggerate what's wrong with your car and we're glad that we finally found someone who's honest and seems to genuinely care about you. He's helped us buy our car and avoid the mistake of buying something fishy (second hand car), and he always tells us what needs to be serviced each time, not making up a list of things that doesn't need to be done and charge us for it. It's a small garage but he's reliable and doesn't charge extra, it's good to know that your car is in good hands there.

When we needed our toilet fixed, we quoted several plumbers for the cost, and were quite concerned how expensive it's going to be. Then we were pleasantly surprised when Robina Village Plumbing came to quote, it was almost half the cost of some of the other places! And he explained what's wrong with it and why and how it will be fixed, giving such honest answers and prices, very professional indeed! The last thing we need is plumbers trying to rip us off so we're glad we came across his ad in the phone book, highly recommended!

We heard about Wallaby Pest Control through a friend who had a good experience with them, so we gave it a try. The staff showed up on time (10 mins early even!) and did the job thoroughly, also explained what he's using and listened to our concerns. It was reasonably priced (cheaper than most major companies) and comes with 12 month warranty. We saw a dramatic decrease in insects over the first few weeks, so we are quite satisfied with the job.

Top Job did a wonderful job for our end of lease clean. They cleaned everything top to bottom professionally and it was very reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and just did their job efficiently. They even helped us out with getting our bond back afterwards, even though it was a while later, they remembered us and treated our troubles like their own, they provided more than just a cleaning service, they helped us all the way even though I've never met some of them (only talked over the phone). Very good service indeed!

Ray was very competent in helping us renovate and build an extension, we heard about him from another friend who had very good experience with him. He is hard working, on time, and has great knowledge of the trades. He also takes care to follow up afterwards. He treated like the work as if it's his own home, and has over 30 years experience. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone to renovate/ extend their home.

Maurita is an authentic Italian bakery and patisserie, they not only have a great selection of yummy cakes, pastries, and pizza/ Italian breads, you can also sit down, relax, and enjoy a quick bite with coffee in the little cafe. (They have a special for cake and coffee set everyday). Cakes can be ordered for special occasions. Excellent taste and authentically Italian!

Graeme was a great driving instructor, he was kind, patient and has excellent driving test knowledge, allowing us to pass the first time. Coming from another country and needing a license quickly, he arranged everything for us and squeezed in an early test as soon as possible. Thanks Graeme, he is highly recommended!

Fuji International Kindergarten has been around for many years and is always full without need for advertising. The reason is that the staff are all excellent, qualified and loyal (some have been around for 20 years!). The owner is a kind Japanese man and they offer fun Japanese lessons for the little ones, which the kids love. They have classes from babies to prep aged, and the programs are very well organised. You also get a developmental report for your child twice a year.

Very clean, bright new dental surgery, colorful decorations so kid friendly also. Head dentist very efficient. If you make an appointment you hardly have to wait. They take most private insurance so if you have private health check-ups and cleaning will be free.
