This is a training restaurant at the TAFE and is open on selected days throughout the year for lunch and dinner. Bookings are essential and there is usually a waiting list.
There is a set menu consisting of two entrees, mains and desserts. If you are with a group these are served alternately around the table. On my last visit I had a gnocchi entree followed by a mouthwatering salmon and a strawberry meringue dessert. There is also a good selection of wines.
The service can be slower than you would expect in a professional restaurant but one must remember that these are students learning their skills. The ambience is pleasant and the cost is very reasoanble. I'll be going back again.
