I would say it's a place that's good enough to stop at if you are at IKEA to shop for something, but I wouldn't go especially for the cafe.
It was like a cafeteria where you line up with trays and they serve you the food. We were surprised at how slow the service was.
The food is alright. We had meatballs, veggies and an apple cake. Nothing particularly great or bad worth mentioning.

OK, so it is never going to be posh feed, that is not the point. But the IKEA cafe is very true to the IKEA experience.
Decent food, reasonably presentable, cheap, cheerful and value for money.
Just like the furniture, the food was the same!

We spent a pleasant hour or so in the Ikea restaurant while shopping. It's huge here compared to their old place, but very nice. It's a cafeteria take-your-tray type service. With little glass cases of drinks, desserts etc, then you get to the hot food serving area.

We had a medium meatballs for $6.95, a large for $8.95 some penne and napolitana sauce for $5.95, bowl of chips and bowl of veggies for $5.00. So that was four people with drinks for around $34. Not bad. The meatballs were superb - lovely gravy and mashed potato and some tasty red-currant jelly. I would have like the corn beef too but ... just no room. We were all full. The pasta was also very nice. Good serve of chips and veggies too.

Then we went back for some chocolate brownies, coffee, marzipan log things, two jelly cups and cupcakes. Another $9. The soft drinks are $2 and refillable at another kiosk.

Very enjoyable, helpful staff and cleanliness was reasonable but not fantastic. You take your own tray and dishes and put them in a rack. There's also a bistro where you can get hot dogs etc and right at the exit door is Ikea food where you can buy meal ingredients to take home.

An outing which was enjoyed by all.

Approximate cost: $ 8 - 10

Good food and very generous portions. My wife and I had the meatballs (she medium,I large) and neither of us could finish. Good value meals. The breakfasts are even better value ($2.95) for eggs, sausage, hash brown etc. Food is not restaurant quality but home style but for the price unbeatable.
