Excellent service nothing was a problem everything went like clockwork. all the staff where most helpful and the finish job was 1st class. Iam more than satisfied i would recommend SAS to anyone

They did a great job. The receptionist Ang was a true star and Paul did a great job overlooking my smash repair. I couldn't speak more highly of them. Great place to have your car fixed!

I was involved in a car crash with my Toyota Supra and it was towed to SAS smash repairs on 06/02/19 for them to assess the damage and get it quoted for the insurance claim. A couple of days later I called them to follow up on everything and talked to one of the worker, and he told me that they had pulled the car apart and they found that there was structural damage and rust which was pre-existing and could compromise the claim. He also told me that they aren't able to source the parts needed for my car because it has an aftermarket bodykit, and are unable to source parts from private sellers (to cover LP their butt). The only option was for them to provide a quote and for me to recieve a cash settlement of the amount and source my own parts and labour with that money. SAS finally quoted me $2,716.17 for the repairs and paint, no labour. Please tell me how you can quote parts that you supposedly were unable to find, and who would I be getting to install the parts and paint my car? When I did my own research into where I would source the parts and how much everything would cost including paint and labour it came to $3,724.01.
After I got my quote together I called SAS to see if I could get my car or at least get it towed to my house, because there's no point of it being there anymore if they weren't working on it. I was on the phone to Ewan and I said that the quote wasn't enough, he became defensive and said "it's so low because we quoted for second hand parts" - which makes no sense because they said they couldn't use private sellers and even I was unable to find second hand parts because they're uncommon. Then he said I couldn't take the car and had to ask for permission from the insurance company - which again makes no sense because you cannot withhold my car when I am not at fault for the accident, which I wasn't. I spoke to the insurance company and was able to tow the car to my nominated smash repairer, Toronto Re-Car smash repairs. When my car arrived I went down there to inspect the car with them and it was obvious that my car hadn't even been touched by SAS besides driving it... The front bar is bolted on to the back of the headlights and up underneath the car that would require a hoist, everything was still intact even though I was told that the car "was pulled apart" during the inspection. The supposed rust that was on the front end was actually rust arrestor to protect the car from rusting.. So not only did you NOT DO YOUR JOB AT ALL, you lied about properly inspecting my car, wasted my time and you gave me a bogus quotation that was almost $1,000 less than what I needed. I finally received my cash settlement this week on 06/03/19, I have been without my car for over a month now which could of been shorter if you had done your job correctly. I am beyond disappointed with my experience, the team was negligent and the service was abysmall. Thank you for absolutely nothing. I would give 0 stars if there were an option.

My parked car was hit by another while it was parked and a police report was filed - don't know the insurer of the guy who hit me but he definitely has 3rd party according to the police officer. I tried asking for a quote and the smash repairs guys said they usually don't do quotes in these situations because they might not get the business (I wasn't sure who the third party insurer was). As it's my first accident I called the police officer to confirm this was normal, as I was repeatedly advised I needed a quote before sending a letter of demand to the guy who hit my car (he has no phone number). He said they should just do a private quote for me, I was going to walk away but the smash repairers said they would do it THIS time - although they kept explaining how it would be a waste of time if I did not end up going through them.

They were checking my VIN number ect and had my keys and then the guy closed the door with my keys in ignition. Car was then locked. They did not even apologise and proceeded to use various coat hangers to try and pry open my driver's door for the next half an hour. Called NRMA in case they wouldn't be able to get it open. Finally got it open and I noticed there was paint peeling off from the door edge, which isn't present on any other doors. I asked them if they could fix this and they said that it wasn't their fault my car locked itself but they would fix it out of good will. I asked if I could get this in writing and they said I was 'unbelieveable' and 'rude' repeatedly. They also said they would not give me a quote because I was so rude for asking for it in writing.

Please don't go here anyone in Newcastle, they were just awful to me. They have demonstrated a work culture of poor ethic and a business attitude that only aims to benefit themselves. I wish I could give zero stars.

Paul looked after me when my car bonnet was keyed in a car park. My car was not even 6 months old when this happened so you can say I was quite upset. After getting several quotes this is the place I decided on, while they were not the cheapest they certainly were't the dearest either. He actually took the time to explain to me why they had to spray not only the bonnet but my guards as well due to the type of paint on my car it needed to be rolled / blended in so that it wouldn't be noticeable, Very nice guy and he was only too happy to help me. I recommend this place to anyone needing smash repair work done.
