I have known Andrew (The owner) for a couple of years. He also runs a Sunday stall at Akoonah Park Market in Berwick.
Over the years he has done repairs on my jewellery such as fixing lose stones, resizing rings and fixing clasps.
Finally it was time to buy my engagement/wedding ring and Andrew was the only jeweller I would trust to design and make my special ring.
I will only wear solid and hard wearing jewellery, as I work with my hands and my jewellery is worn all the time and not taken off.
To design my ring we actually used an earring of mine to copy the stone layout and pattern. I was able to use some diamonds on a ring that I didn't wear anymore that my fiancee had bought for me a few years earlier.
We came up with a beautiful solid ring that I love wearing.
I actually dropped the ring on my wedding day onto a solid tiled floor, it hit the floor so hard and I was convinced that a diamond would have popped out - but no damage was done except a scratch! Next time I saw Andrew he gave it a polish up and the scratch was gone!!
I cannot recommend Andrew enough - great work and a great guy too!
