Bedroom furniture and associated boxes - moved Brisbane to Sydney
Pros - nothing broken or damaged but we did pack the stuff ourselves. Price was reasonable had they fulfilled their contract as written, but overpriced for the service actually received.
Cons - Original pickup time was supposed to be Monday after lunch, then Monday late afternoon then Tuesday morning and was still late to what they quoted
Delivery time was supposed to be Tuesday, then Wednesday at 6.30pm, then 10.30pm, then was suggested at 2.00AM Thursday (yes two hours after midnight) and finally got delivered at 7.00 Thursday morning.
Pick up was two men, delivery was ONE man (the owner). Not bad if just boxes but the items included a large desk and a queen ensemble base up steep stairs in a Terrace house. Had paid extra due to the problems with the stairs.
Owner / driver was rude and yelling on the phone and the reason he turned up alone was because his employee didn't want to attend delivery as he could see the owner was not in a good mood.
Office staff were poor on follow-up, and never called when they said they would. In a moment of honesty they did however agree with the fact that the service provided to us was 'crap'. Yes, we showed our frustration, but after the treatment we received that was not unexpected. Due to the owner /driver's constant changes in times the office staff refused to assist and said to just deal with the owner directly.
Was told lies in relation to how much longer things would be - 'Owner / Driver is in Sydney now'; Owner /Driver calls three hours later stating he is five hours out of Sydney.
Explanation for the poor service - they got an urgent job that they agreed to complete first before other people's jobs who had booked well and truly in advance.
We have moved often (four countries and 14 times in 15 years), never had such bad service - and we've had some doozies!
Sounded great on Womo, that's why they were used but didn't live up to their reputation at all. Very bad experience!

Have had several moves since 2003 from commercial shop equipment to private expensive collectable furniture, along with general furniture. Could not complain in any way. The service, punctuality, moderate cost, care taken were more than 1st class. Shane has and continues over a 10 year period to provide only the best. It is highly recommended by us. Bob & Pat

I have worked in the industry for one of the major removal companies and had to revert to a backload from Melbourne to Sydney for a small personal move. The major point of difference these guys have is the amount of care they have for both the people they are working with and their business. Shane is a proud operator And he perfects the way he loads his truck. For the few years I worked in the industry, I must say I have not seen anyone load a truck the way he does. Big plus from me and definitely 5 stars!

Household removal staff were excellent and gave me a stress free move and no damages to my goods.
