I wish there was an option to provide less than 1 star for ABA Plumbing. They pride themselves on "no call out fees" - Complete lie. Parents had an issue at their home where there was a pilot light for their gas service but no hot water. As their website and contact details say "no call out fee", this was number one reason why we called. So, the plumber comes out, looks at the unit, says it can't really be repaired and will be $1900 to replace the unit. The cost of telling us this information - $80 which included a pension discount of 10%. it's a free "call out fee". But apparently, this became a "quote for repair" which is charged at $88 per half hour. Complete utter nonsense. I would be recommending this business think about changing their information on their website to state clearly what a 'free call out fee' means. A complete rort of the system and taking prey on people. This is not the issue of the plumber who came to the house (he was quite nice). This is a management issue and I would recommend people looking to use this service to skip past them and use someone else. Just because you have ABA plumbing to be searched easier in listings online will no longer be enough if you keep using your current business model.
