This is my favorite Malaysian restaurant in Sydney so far.. Everything from its food, decor, staff and service reminds you of Malaysia. I am a junkie for family owned restaurants, they're always authentic and cozy. During weekday lunch- times, you can get a main dish with a drink for $10. Their Nasi lemak and Nasi Gorengs are fabulous.. very spicy like i like it.. they hv added their own twist to the Rojak but still very tasty and they are also famous for their satay which doesn't disappoint... A must try..

Approximate cost: $10

I first discovered this while they were still doing stalls at the Malaysian Festival; they are well known for their satays and rice cakes. Price was moderate and they were well known and you always see queues. They have now operated their own restaurant near UNSW and their satays are addictive.

Approximate cost: $10
