Above and Beyond Funerals do just what their name says. They go above and beyond. Death is a part of life, though a hard road. Bec and her team made the journey and everything associated with it all very smooth, professional and with compassionate understanding. How does one describe which can only be one of the hardest days when your dad dies and then not really knowing what to do. We rang one funeral director who was so rude and then ,Thank goodness we were given a number for the Team at "Above and Beyond funerals". Honest, no stone was left un- turned to what they did for our family , the hardest day was lifted with there beautiful support ,ha and extra hugs. Bec and her team made it that much easier on us all . My dad would of been so happy with how everything went . I would only recommend this Funeral business for there caring touch at such a hard time , we even had his coffin covered in his favorite soccer team, Everton and Bec organised this for us too ,all those special touches ,even golf clubs in his hearse , we were just like WOW what a send off for BILL. My mum was just overwhelmed at how wonderful they were with our family and friends too , all we can say is Thankyou, thankyou for everything you did , and best of luck guys your the best on the coast xox

We had the misfortune of requiring a funeral service for both of my parents who passed away within seven months of each other in 2012/13.
Fortunately we were given the name of Above and Beyond Funerals with the comment that the funeral director Rebecca was caring and respectful.
Rebecca was this and more. Bec as we came to know her, was as gentle and respectful with the entire family as she was with
our loved ones. Nothing was too much trouble. When my Mum passed Bec requested a photo of her so that she could do Mum's hair and makeup as close to real life as possible. Mum looked beautiful and that was so comforting to us. I know Mum would have approved as well. Even though Bec was very business like there was such a human touch to her and she made our job much easier with her suggestions and reminders. Dad was a returned serviceman and when he was taken from the hospice to the funeral home he was draped with his beloved Australian Flag. Our family had great love for my Mum and Dad and with the help of Bec and her associates we felt that we gave them the goodbye that they deserved. Once I met Bec I didn't phone any other funeral homes for prices as we all felt so comfortable with her and price wasn't the criteria, but since then speaking with other people I know her costings are more than competitive. Planning a funeral that is worthy of a loved one isn't an easy or enviable task but I am happy to recommend Bec without any reservations knowing that anyone she deals with will be treated fairly, honestly and most importantly with compassion and care.

Recently my Uncle passed away and I was referred to Above and Beyond Funerals by a friend who had used their services. From the moment I called Rebecca I was at ease knowing my Uncle was going to be looked after. The girls at Above and Beyond Funerals were approachable and friendly throughout the whole process, even going the extra mile and matching the hearse to my Uncle's favourite football team which was beautiful. My Uncle would have been happy with the way they honoured his life. I would recommend Bec and her team to anyone who has lost a loved one.

Bec and her team looked after my best friend's Dad earlier this year. They made one of the worst day's of our lives better just by the way they handled everything from the initial visit right through to the funeral and after care with the family. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of funeral services, her professionalism is second to none but it's her personal service and care that sets her above the rest.
