The Absinthe Salon is absolutely amazing. It is one of my favourite places to drink. The experience is different from anywhere else and the atmosphere is lovely. For first timers drinking REAL good quality absinthe (Not pathetic green fairy), they walk you through the steps on how to drip ice cold water onto your sugarcube-topped spoon and letting your absinthe "louche" They are very helpful with assisting you in your choice of absinthe. The decorations and staff attire are extraordinarily well done (even the bathroom) and I highly recommend this place to everyone except for those who can't stand aniseed flavour, these people can maybe just go along with friends and watch.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a number of items online from here. I rang the salon to ask some questions in regards to how long the order would take to ship as I needed the items for a friends birthday. I spoke with Gaye who had to be the most pleasant and helpful sales assistant ever she went above and beyond all expectations. She was incredibly knowledgeable about her products and directed to some slightly different choices. I placed my order late on Thursday night and received my goods first thing Wednesday morning. I can assure any one who orders that the goods will be packaged securely and safe enough to arrive in one piece. I hope to one day be able to visit their salon.

The Absinthe Salon is one of the best places I've ever visited. Not only is it a very unique experience but the staff are always so welcoming and make you feel very special no matter who you are. We enjoy absinthe alot and although we only visit in person a couple of times a year because we don't live in Sydney, but we make a point to visit every time we are. We also order absinthes online from them. They only stock good quality bottles. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone who wants a unique & special experience!

The drinks are deadly here! We had 2 and we were already feeling the happiness! We also ordered some little chocolate and brioche. The atmosphere is very mysterious and people do dress goth for the full effect. Small place but very intimate.
