Beware Lisa doesn’t pay her bills!
I bet her reply will be that trades don’t complete jobs and that the job isn’t finished or is damaged etc but in reality she just doesn’t want to pay her bill!

I thought I had found my new hairdresser, then I went to pay. It is a complete rip off! I bought a keratin treatment, styling cut and blow dry on Groupon got there she said extra $45 for long hair, and it's quite thick that's an extra $55, I'm used to paying extra for length, so I wasn't too shocked. Lisa (the owner) then said do you want a colour as this product you can colour on the same day, so I agreed to a colour and STUPIDLY didn't ask for the cost. Do you want the products, yes please. Everything looked great, I go to the counter and she said that will be $414. I said but I've already paid the $129 on Groupon for the style cut, blow dry and Keratin... she said $45 for length plus $55 for thick hair, $104 for the product, AND $214 FOR THE COLOUR!!!!!! WHAT THE HECK!!!!!!!

Approximate cost: $550

The owner Lisa is a terrible hairdresser she will tell you she is Goldwells best seller omg she destroyed my hair colour and charged me don’t go there she has no idea about using goldwells colours correctly and is extremely over priced

Do not try their Keratin Goldwell Kerasilk Package at any cost. They will NOT inform you before selling the package that it only works if you buy their product range.

They will push you to buy the Goldwell products package, with the additional charges that they will no doubt add to your bill at the end. And at that moment they will say oh if you don't use our products then our Keratin will be hard to keep for long. What rubbish. Keratin treatments do not work like that! But theirs does. It will come off within a week, leaving your hair worse off that before. Voila the Goldwell Keratin.

was pretty upset with my Keratin exprience. The girls kindly got me this voucher as a 30th birthday gift as they knew I had always wanted it, but could never afford to get it done. I was so happy about receiving this gift and I booked it in for Saturday 2nd June. Due to me having long thick hair the girls gave me an extra $50 as from the terms they could see there could be a surchurge.

The night before I also received a text from Absolute hair Design confirming my appointment but also asked if I wanted a pre appointment consultation and I said yes. I took a photo of my hair and sent it to them and this was the message which I have attached to this email:

Length shoulder minimum is $30

Pass:40

Bra Strap: $50

The thick i am not quite sure if normal stant is no extras charge

If thick will be from $55-75

Also in the terms and conditions on the voucher it says:

Minimum $30 surcharge applies for long hair ( past the shoulder) . Thick hair may also incur a surcharge from $55-75

From these terms it makes out the most I would be paying would be $55-75. It does not say ANYWHERE that cost would be 2 amounts together... They lady asked if i wanted a treatment for $15 and i said yes so i had agreed to yet another cost, but I had not been told my hair was going to be that much. At the end up the appointment I went to pay and it came to $185 initially as she had charged me for 2 treatments without consultation if I wanted 2 .. I explained this and after a 5 minute argument she gave me 15 off. so total was $170 with the treatment, which meant that it was $155 for the thick long hair , which had NOT been explained or quoted prior, as you can see in the messages. I was in shock by this all as these were hidden costs!

My friend who is a lawyer has told me this is illegal as the points were not clearly stated that there would be 2 costs. The word AND was not in there atall. I am writing to you first as I advise this deal should not be used, and also I request a refund for the extra that I was charged. I have come to you first, but then if you can not help I will go to the Ombudsman. I am very upset by this experience. If these costs had initially been put in the Voucher, I would not have been able to go, as $155 (without the $15 treatment I agreed to)is ALOT extra to my 'free birthday gift'.

Also after I have washed my hair once there is already frizz coming through part of it which is not what i expected after spending this much!!

Ok cut and colour however be aware of pricing 'tactics'. I was promised a 20% discount however midway was 'offered' a treatment (which I thought was due to her needing to attend to someone else). Upon payment I was told that the treatment replaced the 20% discount and that it was 'better for me'. Not a fan of these kind of tactics and prefer it when people are professional and transparent.

I've been to Lisa twice now and couldn't be happier with my colour. She's also extremely efficient taking only 2 hours for a full head of foils!

I highly recommend her.

Do not recomend. very bad foil job on hair, a rushed job and they were very rude.
