Very bad for blonde hair. After having foils for 2 years at an interstate salon, the colourist at Abuzz decided to do a block colour instead. The colour did not match, and the banding was terrible! I returned to the salon once more, with a different colourist, but the result was the same. I had to pay a different salon over $400 to repair the damage. Not impressed.

Hopefully this shop has changed hands since the last time I went there - Although I still remember being ripped off with a terrible cut that was all wonky and low lights that made me look like a witch. I went back the next day and complained - They charge me another $200! I never went back after that but bad customer service sticks in peoples heads.

I was recently recommended by a friend to try Abuzz Day Spa. I booked an appointment to have one of their signature facials with Fiona it was amazing. Fiona was so professional and friendly as was Ashlea the receptionist who greeted me. Thank you ladies for making my experience so indulgent and luxurious. I was so happy with the service I have booked next week with Dimmity in the Hair Salon to retouch my Color. Thanks everyone

Wow! I would like to give a huge thank you to Katie in the spa. I come to Abuzz for the haircuts and ended up getting a massage one afternoon after an appointment. Katie was attentive, soothing, and just a true professional at her craft. I will be back!

Love the salon, love the results: Yvonne and Troy have been looking after me for ages,I don't need to look anywhere else. I love chatting to Troy, he is a gas!! If I don/t have a good chat with my hair then I'm not 100% happy!! I've tried other places but Abuzz is the best fit for me. 5 stars.

I have beeing going to this hair dresser for over 7 years now and the staff are always friendly and professional. The staff have been there long term and are mature. I always walk out feel beautiful and there underground beauty salon is amazing and luxurious.

I have been going to Abuzz for hairdressing services the last two years. I always book an appointment with Troy as I find him very knowledgeable and experienced in the field. It is even nice to have a casual chat with him at the time. I met Troy on event organized by Tall Women's Club where he presented his salon. I found him very charismatic back then…and he has not changed.

Apart from Troy's service, I have also tried pedicure and facial treatment once. I was disappointed with service of pedicurist because I had expected she would have scrubbed off hard skin on my feet more. Yet, it seems like they want you to come back more often or they simply focus on toenails polish.

I possess a loyalty card which allows me to claim 20% discount on my 7th visit (I think). On the day when I went to pedicurist, I also had hair done. When I paid, I handed in my loyalty card for their signature. The pedicurist signed only one field on card so I asked about it as I thought a signature per treatment. She asked me back whether some other staff signed my card more than once when I used two services at once. Right then I was told a signature per visit…so no matter what number of services you are using on the day, you will not be given any more than one signature. Considering the prices for treatments, I have to say the loyalty program is worthless... The “lovely” pedicurist did not find out that I had been given two signatures when I was treated by my hairdresser and purchased a product from Dermalogica. Haha!!! …so the rules are very unclear…depends on who is serving you, I guess.

It is not a bad place to get indulged but I bet there are better ones in Brisbane. I am going to use my 20% discount on my next visit which I am going to make the last one too.

This is a fantastic salon, not staffed by inexperienced 16-year-olds, but experienced staff & is not outrageously expensive. Nicole is friendly and gave such great advice on styles, I now have the best hair cut I have had in years.

I have recently moved away from the area but still remain a loyal customer as these guys do such a great job. Their waxing and hairdressing services are top quality and they are always running on time. The staff are really friendly and I always get the results I ask for.
