Beautiful apartments to stay in close to the river, only about a 5 min walk away. We stayed in a one bedroom with amazing marble bathroom with spa, clean and very comfortable. All normal facilities including TV, DVD, air con, wifi. Spacious lounge and fully equipped kitchen. Loved staying here on my honeymoon and would come back anytime. Owners were also lovely

Acacia Terraces is a perfectly located accommodation gem! The property was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished with quality fittings - and very peaceful and private. The owner incredibly friendly and welcoming - and one knows instantly that they have escaped the trappings of the city to warm country hospitality. Internet included in the price - which I recall as being a steal at $99 via the wotif.com website. Great for a couple's getaway - as one master bedroom - perfectly comfortable. I'm not sure what the arrangement is in some of the other terraces in terms of second bedrooms for families or extra's etc. Ours was one bedroom, and I think the main lounge area may have unfolded to a sofa. A short walk to the historic port and main street shops. We didn't want to leave.
