It was two days before Christmas and we were driving back to Adelaide from Port Elliot, via Mount Barker - when our alternator died. We took the car to Active Autoelectrical at about 12.30 pm. Not sure whether it was Mark or Lang but he diagnosed it immediately and started looking for a generic alternator. Unable to get the generic one he rang Bosch and arranged to have it sent from Adelaide - all in about an hour. Said we could probably pick it up by 6.00 pm or we might have to stay in Mount Barker overnight. We went for a walk in beautiful downtown Mount Barker and at about 4.00 he rang us up to say it was all done. For that he charged about $200 labour. We were right chuffed!!
