Terrible. Everyone seemed to have an attitude problem. $300 Later for a short consult with no answers regarding my pups health and told to take him to another vet in the morning and just to watch him because they had more important things to do, or wait until 2am for proper assistance. I wouldn’t have drove 40 km or come in and spent $300 if I knew that was going to be the case. I even rang before coming in to make sure he would be cared for properly and that it was worth the trip. Go somewhere else - the one star google reviews all sum my experience up here completely. Waste of time and money. Cold, unfriendly reception staff.

Approximate cost: $300

Specialist was friendly and knowledgable at initial consult and did good job of my dogs surgery however couldn’t help feeling once got my money (over $6000) service ended When went back for final X-rays and evaluation all i got was a nurse (who was very nice) who said all ok and a piece of paper with excessive schedule didnt even get to see a specialist to ask questions or any other enquiries . I think if going to charge like a wounded bull you should back it up with better service. When need to have other leg fixed think will go somewhere else

Approximate cost: $6500

I'm an animal lover from way back, and I've always said that I'd go without before my pets ever would. On three occasions over the past couple of years, I've had an after-hours emergency with my two elderly dogs, and I thank God for this animal hospital being a 24/7 business. On all occasions, my dogs would have died without the care of the vets and vet nurses at this practice.

Obviously the prime consideration for a good vet is the way they care for the animals, but I firmly believe that vets and their staff also need to be good with the pet owners too. For me, and a lot of people I know, our pets are like our four-legged children, and we can become extremely emotional when our animals are injured or ill. The staff at this vet clinic were absolutely wonderful with me, as they tried to calm me when I couldn't stop crying at the thought of losing my "babies". When I had to leave one of my dogs there late on a Friday night, for treatment including IV fluids and oxygen, they were so patient with me, when I rang every couple of hours during the night to see how my dog was.

Although the business is on the corner of a major intersection, there's parking right out the front, and also around the corner, which is important if you're trying to get a distressed animal out of the car and into the building. You don't want to have to trek a distance with a dog in your arms.

I admit that their services are not cheap, but they are extremely thorough and knowledgeable, and their compassion and caring for the animals they treat cannot be praised enough. And you're paying for after-hours vet care, so I couldn't put a price of the well-being of my pets. They do give detailed invoices, so it's easy to claim on your Pet Insurance.

If you need to seek after-hours vet care, I'd recommend this business, as they really will look after your animals AND you!

I rang at 3 am one morning with a concern about my dog. The nurse I spoke to enquired about my dog's symptoms and was able to provide me with useful advice over the phone. I was told what the consultation fees would be if I was to bring my pet in and was advised that based on the symptoms I described, my best course of action was to see my regular vet first thing in the morning.

I was very grateful for the advice and honesty of the nurse which enabled me to make an informed decision about whether or not to bring my pet in.

This sounds like a great service. Good to know we have such things around.

Had to use this place twice now. Once with my dog and my pet rabbit. Opened 24/7 7 days a week. Staff are wonderfull both time. Expensive but you are paying for after hours emergency service so i didnt mind paying extra then a normal vet.

Nice to have an option for after hours animal care, however the costs are extreme and they said they can't do X-rays or operations til 9am anyway so if you need an operation done it's more about making the pet comfortable til 9am.
I would still go there for something like a snake bite or if you need to induce vomiting in your pet or if it is in pain.
Majorly expensive but it is after hours care so it is to be expected.
The majority of staff are friendly and helpful and know what they're on about.

Open after hours and public holidays. Expensive visits but their service and care of your pet and yourself are excellent. Emergency veterinary care for animals is hard to find after hours so they are a god send! Liaises with your own vet next working day to ensure continuity of care
