Adelaide Exchange is a cash buyer of all jewellery and precious metal... Except for pearls it seems so I guess they don't do as advertised poor service.

I was absolutely appalled by the rudeness of the woman at the Modbury store. Rude and insulting when she looked at my gold jewellery and offered me $200 for 2 gold bracelets, diamond engagement ring and a couple of other rings and a gold heart necklace. She didn't even pick anything up or weigh it. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Needed to replace/fix stones in wedding ring. Had previously bought jewellery in Adelaide store where staff were very friendly and helpful. Very professional, explained what needed to be done, the ring had to be sent to their Adelaide store. I was given a courtesy call when ring came back. Ring was fixed and cleaned, it looked lovely. Very pleased with service.

I was insulted by the staff who when I wanted to sell a $2,000 ring said and I quote "would you be happy with $30?". Had I not been aware of the real value I would have been ripped off. I wonder how many other people have been ripped off by the place that advertises 'the best price for unwanted jewelery

If your looking for gold jewellery these are the guys to see. They sell their 9ct gold by the gram so you don't pay the retail mark up. We have bought several christening bracelets from them and the value is excellent. They also have estate jewellery.
