had corn rows put into my shoulder-length hair - outcome was stunning but a lot of pulling and tension on my scalp resulted in me being in agony for the next week. I tried everything (lots of moisturiser and products as recommended on the various websites and had to end up taking the whole thing out. Was very upset, particularly since my hair started to fall out. Not a good outcome.

Unfortunately I would not recommend this company not even to my worst enemy. The customer service is extremely poor, the so called manager cant even communicate he hangs up on customers. No request to resolve my concerns have been attended to not even by the director of the company. The hair has turned to dred locks. I permanently wear extensions due to medical reasons and ive never had a problem with hair quality. Judging by the reviews and the response from the owner on google, saying to a client 'go back to sydney for your cheap extensions' is absolutely disgusting communication of a business owner. I cannot understand why someone would invest in a company only to back chat to customers with attitude. poor poor use of language.

BEFORE I BEGIN I ONLY RATED ONE STAR SO I COULD MAKE MY POINT. I RATE MINUS STARS TO THIS MICKEY MOUSE OUTFIT CALLED AFRICAN BRAIDZ. TO BEGIN WITH I AM POSTING A REVIEW ON HERE BECAUSE MY FORMAL COMPLAINT HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED. I CALLED THE SALON TODAY AFTER MY HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE LAST FRIDAY, 4 DAYS AGO IN WHICH I ARRIVED AT THE SALON TO HAVE MY TWO ROWS OF EXTENSIONS LIFTED. I HAD A YOUNG GIRL NAMED BRITTANY WHO DISCLOSED TO ME SHE HAD ONLY ONE YEAR'S HAIR DRESSING TRAINING. TINA AT NO TIME DID YOU INFORM OR ADVISE ME THAT YOU WERE USING A JUNIOR. WHEN SHE STITCHED THE FIRST ROW IN SHE DID HALF ON ONE SIDE OF MY HEAD AND HALF ON THE OTHER SIDE, MEETING IT IN THE MIDDLE. SHE THEN STITCHED IT AND TIED A HUGE KNOT IN THE MIDDLE OF MY SCALP. I SLEEP ON MY BACK, BUT HAVEN'T HAD ANY SLEEP FOR TWO NIGHTS BECAUSE OF THE KNOT DIGGING IN MY HEAD IN THE END I ONLY HAD ONE ROW DONE BECAUSE SHE KEPT DIGGING THE SEWING NEEDLE IN MY HEAD AS SHE WAS STITCHING THE HAIR TO THE ROW AND I COULDN'T TAKE THE PAIN. I ASKED BRITTANY AFTER SHE HAD FINISHED IF MY HAIR WAS TIDY AND EVEN AT THE BOTTOM. SHE SAID IT WAS. I THEN PAID FULL PRICE AND LEFT THE SALON TO GO TRY SOME CLOTHES ON IN ANOTHER SHOP. IT WAS WHIST I WAS LOOKING IN A BACK MIRROR THAT I SAW MY HAIR AND HOW TATTY AND UNEVEN IT WAS. I CALLED THE SALON, TINA CALLED ME BACK TO THE SALON. WHEN I ARRIVED I SAID I WANTED MY HAIR CUTTING STRAIGHT ACROSS THE BOTTOM. BRAD CUT AT LEAST TWO INCHES OFF. NOW I HARDLY HAVE ANY HAIR. WHILE HE WAS CUTTING MY HAIR, YOU TINA APPROACHED BRAD AND STUCK YOUR PHONE UNDER HIS NOSE TO SHOW HIM SOMETHING HE TRIED TO TELL YOU HE WAS BUSY WITH MY HAIR BUT YOU STILL PUSHED YOUR PHONE UNDER HIS NOSE. YOU WERE SO RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL AND YOU CHARGED ME ANOTHER $40 ON TOP ON THE $70 YOU CHARGED WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN CHARGED FOR A FULLY QUALIFIED HAIRDRESSER. YOU KNOW I AM A VERY SICK PERSON AND A LOYAL CUSTOMER WHO DID NOT DESERVE THIS TREATMENT, WHERE WAS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE TINA?. I HAVE BEEN COMING TO YOUR SALON FOR OVER FIVE YEARS AND AT TIMES I HAVE FOUND YOU AND SOME OF YOUR STAFF VERY RUDE, BUT I PUT UP WITH IT. BUT NOT ANYMORE. WHEN I CALLED THE SALON TODAY TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT MY COMPLAINT, BRAD SAID I COULD CALL YOU TINA BETWEEN 4.30-5PM BECAUSE HE SAID YOU WOULD BE AVAILABLE SO I DID BUT EACH TIME I CALLED THE SALON WENT TO VOICE MAIL. HOW CONVENIENT????? I HAVE LEFT MESSAGES WITH MY CONTACT NUMBER FOR YOU TO CALL ME TO DISCUSS MY COMPLAINT. IF YOU ARE NOT THE PERSON WHO DEALS WITH COMPLAINTS, THEN YOU NEED TO INFORM ME WHAT THE PROCESS IS FOR ME TO DISCUSS MY COMPLAINT. AS I SPEAK, MY ROW IS VERY UNEVEN, THICK IN SOME PLACES AND THIN IN OTHER PLACES AND THE HAIR EXTENSION IS STARTING TO COME AWAY FROM THE ROW AND THE ROW IS COMING AWAY FROM MY SCALP AND THE STITCHING IS VERY LOOSE. I WANT A SATISFACTORY OUTCOME TINA SO YOU HAVE A CHANCE HERE TO PROVE YOU ARE A PROFESSIONAL WHO CARES ABOUT HER CUSTOMERS. IF I DON'T GET THIS. I AM REPORTING YOU TO THE HBIA AND THE ACCC AND I WILL COPY AND PASTE ALL OF THE REVIEWS OF UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS AND ADD THEM TO MY COMPLAINT. YOU ARE A VERY RUDE AND DECEITFUL PERSON.
DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE ANY HORROR STORIES ABOUT THIS WOMAN AND HER SALON?
BE WARNED, DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON WHERE THEY ARE PREPARED TO CHARGE FULL PRICES WHILE THEY ARE USING JUNIORS IN TRAINING
