We live in Newcastle but spend a great deal of time in Sydney we always make sure we have an incredible meal at the Al-Aseel. Being Lebanese ourselves we can be quit fussy with authentic food however we never leave disappointed.

These guys were good but I have honestly had better, it had a nice Reno job though! Beautiful place to eat though it was a bit pricy door what they have to offer.

My husband, kids and I went to this restaurant twice and loved the food. Whether you try tabbouli, hommus, fattush, grilled meat or chicken , falafel... it's all very well done and represents lebanese food very very well. The place is pricy but you get what you pay for.

I had my very first experience dining at the Lebanese restaurant, AL ASEEL in GREENACRE, SYDNEY, few days ago, Without a doubt the food is excellent and the very good value for money. Some of the really good dishes are: chicken and lamb grill, fattoush, Sambousek, Samke Harre (a fish dish).
The haloumi is heavenly. We shared a tasting plate, too, for entree, as well as the trio of deliciuos dips; hommos, baba ganouj and garlic, served with a fried bread.
We left, very happy, and very full from our dinner. We will certainly be back.

Approximate cost: $11-19

The food at Al Aseel restaurant is of great quality. Their meat and poultry is super tender and the flavors are excellent. Reasonably priced and we always leave feeling very satisfied by the quantity and quality of the food. With their new renovations they have a complete business.

Approximate cost: $20

Best Lebanese food I have ever had by far! 6 adults and 2 kids shared 3 mixed platters between us. Loved everything from the freshly cooked skewers, dips and tabouleh. Will def be a regular here.

Not too keen on the plate of pickled veg they give you to munch on while waiting for your order. Might be a good idea to serve some dips to go with the bread before the mains are served.

I only tried the mixed platter, but I don't think Al Aseel is as good as a couple of other places I can think of in this part of Sydney. It's possible I'm selling it short, though, as there are numerous dishes (fish and seafood mainly) here that aren't available at the usual Lebanese eateries.
