not a bad cafe, i like it mainly because i live around the area so i can walk to the cafe on a nice day, loceation is it's biggest trump card it's right next to this wetland so there's a nice view, also when my family's going to the gym i tend to just hang around there (free wifi!) while waiting

drinks are pretty standard, prices are a bit dear but i guess overall not too bad staff are okay and parking is ample

the decor of the actual cafe is quite quaint and cosy as well, i like lounging around here, very family friendly atmosphere

This cafe was recommended to me by a friend who lives in the area and we decided to go on Sunday for a family brunch. The Cafe is located near the display home offices, on the lake. Seating is available inside and outside. It is very family friendly with highchairs, a separate children's menu and crayons are provided. My boys were impressed with the baby chinos which came out with a chocolate tiny teddy, two marshmallows and chocolate topping had been used to create a teddy bears face. Probably the highlight of their day. The coffee was very good too. We had poached eggs, bacon, mushrooms and hash browns. The flavours were great and it was well cooked. I especially enjoyed the mushrooms. The only thing is there was only a small piece of sourdough toast under the two eggs. If you were just ordering the eggs and toast for $11, I think you would feel a bit ripped off. The sides were $4 each. My boys shared some chips which were well presented on a wooden board with sauce and aioli on the side, they were chunky and delicious. The service was fantastic, very friendly staff, our orders were taken quickly and we didn't have to wait long for our meals. The cafe is open 7 days a week for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. I would like to go back to try something from the Lunch menu. A good place to go with family or to catch up with friends. There is a fantastic playground around the corner and I can see myself getting a take away coffee from here and taking it to the park with the kids.

Approximate cost: $16
