This Companies customer service and dispute resolution is some of the worst I have come across.

DO NOT ORDER ANY OF THEIR "made to order" DRESSES IF YOU WANT IT DELIVERED ANYTIME WITHIN THE NEXT YEAR. THE TIME FRAMES THEY LIST ON THEIR WEBSITE ARE A LIE. (no exageration)

I ordered a dress on 22/08/2023 and i have yet to receive it. Constant back and forths between myself and customer service with empty promises, all of which they haven't been able to deliver on.

I just sent yet another email to them (they don't have a number you can call) following up again for my order and, it has been over 48hrs and I have yet to receive a response.

The dress I received was NOTHING like the image on their website. Their size guide might as well be irrelevant. I received an over-sized sack which loosely resembled the dress I ordered despite checking their size guide carefully.

The dress was called “Grace” in the champagne colour, but it was a tacky, shiny gold and it looked dated and cheap.

They put a lot of effort into their photos and Instagram posts but customer service and product quality is lacking. They say “made to order” however I am more inclined to believe that they order it from elsewhere and repackage it with a marked up price. No one is custom making your dress - don’t be fooled!!

I wish I saw these warnings before I ordered. Please don’t spend your money here and go buy a good quality dress in person. I am devastated as my 18 year old daughter was meant to wear the dress on my wedding day and now we have to either alter this dress and make do or find something else at our own expense anyway. I’ve asked for a refund but given the deception they display, and the posts here dated over many years, I doubt they have a shred of integrity. Save yourself the hassle!

I was so excited to order a dress from alamour for my upcoming Birthday party. As soon as I unwrapped it I was disgusted. The neckline had liquid stain all over it and was stretched through the bust line, stretch creases front and back, as if it was worn. I can't believe I paid full price $169 for a dress that has been worn. I thought they sold NEW clothes.
I contacted customer service and was told they could help with an exchange or $35 partial refund to cover drycleaning.
They assured me it had been quality checked as per the checklist provided with the item. Their quality control team did not check it correctly. It's clearly stained. I just want a refund, but Customer service said that their policy is only exchange or store credit. Surely! Cannot believe it. Do not buy from this store. They sell used clothing.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUSINESS. The quality is cheap and they sell it for a fortune. I received a dress and when trying it on the zipper busted. I contacted them and they don’t consider it a fault because they “check it before they leave the warehouse”. It’s absolutely cheap, their service is terrible how they speak to their customers (I work in retail I get frustration but I was so kind to the employee as I know it’s not their fault it broke) and just the overall quality is comparable to shein. I understand not refunding change of mind as stated in the returns faq but a broken zipper? Ridiculous

The worst service, do not buy from this company!! They make their clothing look nice online but they are made with the cheapest and thinnest material it’s disgusting you will be returning your item, then for them to say NO to a refund. Even when I agreed to a credit note since they wouldn’t refund they ended up saying NO to that because apparently the dress was damaged at the bottom when I couldn’t even wear the dress it was too tight and horrible material, they just want to steal your money it’s horrible!!
So disgusting!!

Summary: Be wary as you will not be able to receive a refund even if the colour and fit of the item is different to what was advertised.

Unfortunately I have had a bad experience with this company despite hearing good general review on the internet. I just want people to be aware of the restrictive return policy before buying.

I brought a pair of pants in January of 2022. As with all online shipping I do, I measured myself not only in accordance with the size guide but also with the models measurements. When I received the pants, they were a different colour and fit, with the pants being entirely too long despite me having a taller inseam than the model pictured.

I returned the pants to Alamour with the promise they would be reviewed. They will only offer store credit. When I requested a refund (had to send three emails before receiving a response on the promised review) I have been told my Alamour: "The colour of the garments displayed on this website may differ to the true and actual colour of the physical garment" and that fit issues are my problem to hire a seamstress to solve.

I am left with a store credit (That does not include shipping costs) I am not sure I want to use after this experience and a total of $25 spent on shipping and return costs. Just be aware that even if the product does not match the description you might never get your money back.

Poor service. No refunds which is against ACCC law. Even when dress doesn’t fit and size won’t change the issue.

Extremely unprofessional service. The dresses are low quality bought from sites like aliexpress and sold at exhurberent prices. Hats of to their marketing team who make a fool out of unsuspecting clients. Low quality products snap it on well known influencers and take a few good looking models and charge x400 market price for what's it worth. Budget clothes. Do not bother. Still awaiting my refund since last year. They are quick to delete any bad feedback on instagram. Thank God for platforms like these.
