The kebabs are fantastic. Definitely the best I have had in Melbourne. I've never had anything but great food from here and the staff are always friendly.
We went for an early meal before going to the Marngrook Footy Show and it was perfect. The service was excellent, the food delicious and very good value. Dips were yum, Lamb cutlets great and the best Turkish coffee. Even managed (although I didn't need it) to enjoy a slice of homemade very fresh Semolina cake. Highly recommended. Book for a table inside as it is quite small. It was doing a roaring trade from locals for takeaway.
amazing food. great vegetarian options & for the meat lovers as well. giant serves of turkish bread for their yummy dips.
go here all the time. the owners are lovely
Had heard about someone who went here and had a bad experience so was a little unsure. But I was pleasantly surprised. Food was tasty and fresh. Not huge serves and not the best I have eaten but overall a good meal. The Chick Shish was yum.

I loved everything about the place last time I was there. I expected to pay much more than what the bill was.
As a family when ever we are in the area we make sure we leave home hungry so that we can dine at Alev Alev. Kids always seem to enjoy what ever food is offered, which is very strange because my two kids only seem to be wanting to eat something that has a super hero picture on the packaging.
Approximate cost: $18
harry and family cook amazing turkish pastries, open pizzas, and fresh kebabs. their salads are both healthy and delicious, as is their homemade breads. We eat at this restaurant at least twice a week, and strongly recommend anyone to try, you wont be sorry1
