Alfredton Hair And Beauty

I've been going to this salon for about 2 years & have been extremely happy with my haircut until Christmas 2016. I usually paid around $35 & happy to do so if it's a great cut. They don't wash your hair beforehand & the have washbasins. It might be a good idea for them to ask the customer if they require their hair washed before the cut. I waited 3 days, thinking they would wash my (hot, sweaty, summer time hair) but no. So, after the cut, (that I booked well in advance) not sure why I paid $45 for a style cut (no wash or any other treatment) when I would normally pay around $35. My partner was charged $19.50 for the same service the next day. My cut was very difficult to style properly afterwards, so not so great this time & $10 more than the last cut. I don't know whether all salons charge extra over xmas than other times of the year. Not happy Jan!! I will not be going back here again. The staff are very friendly & the atmosphere in the salon is great but the service lacks 'wow' factor & that special treatment many other salons offer. Service & expertise goes beyond the coffee they serve. I hope that someone from the salon reads my review & can improve their service & business.

I have been going to this salon on and off for a few years as ive been living in melbourne. Today was my first trip back. Not sure of my stylists name but she fixed my hair that felt beyond repair. My horrid brassy blonde is now a nice ash and brown.
Had so much more effort and more servjce done to my hair than at a previous salon and paid half the price!

Just moved to Ballarat and had Holly at salon reccomended. First visit extremely happy, on time great service. Very happy with cut and colour, will be back.

Lynelle listens to me and actually hears what I say. She suggests ideas that may help me to get to the style and colour I am looking for. If I say 'no' to her idea she is just as happy also.

I had a wash and dry from the apprentice. She didn't smile at any time. She didn't wash the underneath of my head, she burnt my head multiple times with the dryer, and she dried my hair badly, which resulted in it being frizzy. My hair then had to be straightened when it is normally dead straight.
But, for $16.00 it was well worth it. I just think she needs someone to monitor her or check up on her skills regularly.

I have been a very frequent paying customer of this business for many years, I would not consider going elsewhere as the service I receive is 100% for quality, service and value from all of the staff who treat you as a friend as well as a client. The salon is always very clean, tidy and comfortable environment. Also parking is a bonus

Alfredton Hair and Beauty has a really friendly atmosphere. The staff have great product knowledge, there is great free parking, the waxing room is warm and you can even have a free champs!

Initially, when I started as a client at this salon it was for one particular service, but I quickly shifted all of my beauty care to their competent hands, and loyalty is rewarded. The moment you walk through the the door you are greeted by friendly staff who offer you a beverage of your choosing whilst you take a seat to wait ( I'm always early) gives me a chance to unwind and enjoy the decor, the waterwall is lovely... Then the pampering begins with Liana for hair, her gentle smile and soft voice stay with you long after you've left. Liana who not only colours and cuts as you'd like but has boundless knowledge on hair care and can recommend the exact product you'll need to regain the health of you locks.. Thanks Liana x..Now is off to Leash the beautician who amongst other things does the best eyebrows, she manage to shape and grow out what others have been ripping at for years and the new sugaring method is fantastic. The best thing with Alfredton is you may only be booked for hair or beauty with 1 or 2 girls but the salon experience is like belonging to a family, all the girls are friendly,speak with you and enhance Alfredton Hair and Beauty ...
