He had a no fuss approach, listened to our ideas and suggested sensible alternatives, which we adopted. Ricky, the installer, was just as trustworthy, paying attention to the smallest detail. His enthusiasm for his work was palpable and we are trilled with the outcome. We contacted a number of other suppliers, but Almara certainly were far in front of the others. The built in robes, with window seat, that Almara designed and installed look breathtaking. People comment to me that they look as though they were designed as part of the room, as they are so seamlessly integrated with the style of the Art Deco apartment. They have 'lifted' the look of my home. They are actually "beautiful." The team were terrific & masterful. I could not be happier, they are better than I imagined. Also, the painter they work with was similarly great. Real professionals. Price was very reasonable.

I couldn't be happier with my wardrobe!! The service in designing the wardrobe was fantastic and then the finished installed product was also fantastic - a big WOW! Definitely made the right decision going with Almara and would highly recommend them - excellent service, quality and value!!

We ordered 4 period style robes to go on both sides of fireplaces in 2 bedrooms in our Victorian home. I wasn’t an easy client as I changed my mind about the number of robes & the internal design several times but Matt & Tamara were endlessly helpful & accommodating. In the end, we had 3 robes installed to allow room for a bookcase in one room. There was quite a delay between order & installation due to Covid but it was worth the wait. The robes have yet to be painted but they are of exceptional quality, custom built to the different measurements of each fireplace inset & to match the height of our front window architraves. The drawers have soft touch hardware & there are adjustable shelves. We chose to have a depth of only 570cm so that the robes didn’t protrude beyond our fireplace mantlepieces & we chose a period style door with capping & small round brass knobs. The robes are designed so that the drawers open without hitting anything & the doors don’t hit the adjacent walls. They are just amazing with such a huge amount of storage. We’re glad we decided to install robes in the fireplace inserts because it leaves the walls free for furniture placement, which can be tricky in period homes due to the fireplaces. Don’t hesitate to use this company. They are professional, meticulous & deliver what they promise. The painting will be extra.

Easy to deal and very professional people who have years of experience in their craft. Highly recommended.

Great job! Collin came and gave suggestions on 2 wardrobes and 2 shelves. He did a great job explaining what’s possible. Mali did an equally good job executing it. Covid lockdowns delayed the job but they were available on call throughout.

We needed built in bookshelves with cupboards underneath for a home office. (Corner unit along 2 walls, 4.5m and 3.5m). We visited a number of local businesses, got a range of views and prices. Just wished we'd started with Almara first! Would have saved us a lot of time.
Trevor (sales) was really helpful and we went to the factory to look at their display. That let us narrow down exactly what we wanted. Being a corner unit we needed to allow for the dead space (where bookshelves met) and still line up the vertical supports with the cupboard doors below. We also had an air con wall unit to work around. Their production staff came up with a great design which works well and we're really happy with.
All along the process Almara were great to deal with. All parts of the business, sales, design, installers, office, were all great communicators, informative and very helpful. We got a separate company to paint the unit and Almara helped by sending them a benchtop sample so they could exactly match the paint colour. They just go that extra mile for you.
We're so happy with the finished product, it's completely transformed the room, and would absolutely use them again.
I think when you receive a great service from a business you should help them out by writing a review and also help out people looking for the service. Look no further, you've found them! Interestingly Almara were also the best-priced quote we received, but we haven't compromised on quality.

The quality of the finished laundry cabinets and WIR drawers and shelving is excellent and installation very professional. A couple of matters that required attention following installation were dealt with very promptly and satisfactorily. The only negative is that the process of obtaining a quote, confirming the order and waiting for installation took longer than anticipated.
