Worst dog training ever! My dogs went in and came out exactly the same, we, however, were $3000 poorer! They were unable to bring our dogs home to us which as they state on their web page is something that should always be done after a board and train. They never showed any of the basic off leash work they supposedly completed, or the prey drive/animal distraction work that they worked on. They showed some basic work on-lead, and a small exercise in a fake lounge room set up. First day home they were displaying exactly the same behaviours this training was supposed to help with. I would not recommend. The trainer who I called to speak about the dogs the day after they got home, seemed quite unhelpful and dismissive.

after trying a number of other dog training organisations, we chanced upon Alpha. The standard of training is excellent, and really aims to give you the skills to train your dog to an advanced level. They focus on having dogs that are a pleasure to have around the home and out of it, rather than show standard.
Trainers are friendly and always willing to go out of their way to help with any issues you may be having, and their enquiries line is available for all clients to ring regarding any issue your dog may be having where they will take time to talk to you about issues with training, or anything else to do with your dog and its behaviour. They also offer boarding facilities and 'boarding school'. There is a joining/handler fee (once off) and you can choose the payment option that suits you - either up front lifetime membership for dog, or smaller payment then pay per class that dog and yourself attend.
classes are wed nights and sunday mornings, which is great if you have family or work committments on the weekends - classes are not continuous - you do not have to attend every wed or every sunday or both days a week which is fantastic when it comes to fitting in dog training around full and busy lives.
Alpha also cater to dogs with issues such as dog aggression or people aggression - my experience with my dog (who displays dog aggression) has been miraculous. Other dog schools were happy to just keep us separated and told me to pay for a behaviourist to combat the issue, whereas alpha were more than happy to dive in and teach me tips and tricks to manage and fix this problem. Our progress has been great in both this area and in general training - I cannot recommend this business enough.
