If your child loves trains (and let's face it, who doesn't?) then this is a must place to visit. They are only open on the third Sunday in the month - next run day is 17th February. Open from 11.00 - 4.00.

They are located in a beautiful bushy setting right in the heart of this suburb and next to the real line which runs to Werribee. The track winds around on their site on 1.5 km of track and it's not just kids who can ride - adults too.

The small scale replicas are beautifully made and maintained - the atmosphere is just amazing. All my children have had an obsession with this place in turn. There are always at least two engines running - diesel and steam owned by various members of the society.

There are lovely picnic tables and BBQ's and of course you can book parties and functions here too. $2.50 per ride
or 11 rides for $25. Let's be honest - you don't want to get off, it's that great of a place and a feeling.

But note, for OH&S no open toed shoes.

For anyone young or young at heart who has any interest in railways - this is the place.
