I would not recommend this business. It was the worst, most expensive haircut I've ever had. I went back to have it corrected and I was charged even more money. And it looked even worse.

Had a lovely experience at Amanda's Hair design. Hayley did my hair and created a beautiful colour- Balayage and cut. I had never had this technique applied to my hair before and I was so pleased with the result. Will definitely be returning. Thankyou!

For a long time, I have had trouble finding a hairdresser that really listened to what I wanted and not what THEY wanted. I have had so much trouble getting my blonde right...I know that I am really fussy with my hair but for me, it is really the only thing I spend any real money on and like most ladies, when your hair is right, you feel really good. I read about Amanda's salon and thought they sound really good. The lovely Hayley S was amazing. She just 'got' me and understood exactly what I was after. So so happy for the first time in so long. THANK YOU HAYLEY and thank you Amanda for hiring such a high quality hairdresser!!

I was recently lucky enough to win a cut and colour at Amanda Hair Design. I decided to make my appointment so that it would time perfectly with my long awaited overseas trip so that my hair would look fantastic. My appointment was set for first thing on a Tuesday. I found parking to be very easy and stress free. The Salon itself was lovely and clean with friendly staff. I had hoped to go a lighter shade but it was explained to me that would mean bleaching my hair and the colouring it and that was not what I had won so we opted to warm up the existing colour in my hair. My colour looked lovely and I was very pleased but I have noticed that sadly it didnt cover the few greys that I have around my temples so that was a little disappointing but its something that I can deal with. I loved the Salon, the staff and the wonderful atmosphere.

I recently moved from the gold coast and was having trouble finding a hair dresser that actually knew their stuff. I decided to go into amandas salon to check it out and get a quote etc. From the minute I walked in to amandas there were smiles everywhere, the knowledge was outstanding and the consult was so thorough. I went in for a colour correction wanting to go from jet Black to a nice light warm colour. This was achieved with no problems. I was not rushed in or rushed out. Time was taken and amanda worked on my hair until it was perfect. Being a colour correction I was a little worried about what the condition of my hair would be like after but I can honestly say that it almost hasn't changed! It's still very soft and healthy. Overall I will highly recommend this salon and the staff to anyone I speak to and will definitely be making this my regular salon. Its the little things that we dont often take notice of that make a difference, from the way the spring water is served with a side of nuts and fruit or the homemade chocolates, the area to keep the kids occupied and you can even keep an eye on them with the ipad thats there, right down to the quality of the products that are used. You can definitely tell that its not cheap rubbish and in some of my past experiences this is SO important. Thanks for a wonderful experience girls. Going from walking in there with black hair and extremely scared of what my hair will turn out like to absolutely loving the colour achieved! Very happy :)

Decided to give the new salon in Brightwater a go. Not happy with my hair cut or colour, it took four hours and expensive, not worth it.

Had my hair done last week and I can firmly say that I thoroughly enjoyed the experience (I normally dislike going to the hairdresser) and absolutely love the outcome. Nemone, who cut and coloured my hair, has a real talent and is lovely to talk to, as is Emma. Great staff, great atmosphere. Will definitely be returning!

I've never been so relaxed to spend a lengthy time in a hairdressers. This experience at Amanda Hair Design was different to any other. I had complete trust and faith in Amanda as she talked me through my options. The entire team were very friendly, happy and sociable. I didn't feel rushed at all, Emma was great, and the service was second to none!! Thank you so much, I love my hair for the first time in about 8 years
