Amanda Kate’s Baby Care is passionate about educating and encouraging babies and children to play and explore their world while having fun. I give them the guidance, support and the confidence to do so. I understand that all children are special, and require attention and care when learning about their new world. I make caring for your child a fun and insightful for both you and your children.
I specialise in caring for newborns and children under the age of 3 - however I also have experience in looking after older children.
NANNY CARE AND SERVICES
I can be contracted for a full day (8:00 a.m – 6:00 p.m), a half day (10 a.m – 3:00 p.m) or for long term employment. If I'm not available, I have a strong network of other nannies and am happy to find a nanny that suits your needs. My nanny services include:
- Care and supervise your children and babies
- Settle, feed and bath your baby
- Prepare bottles for feeding
- Wash and fold your baby’s clothes
- Organise meals for children
- Entertain children and organise age related activities
- Create a written keepsake for your child’s activities
- Include photos and milestones in their own personalised book
- Provide daily diary noting child’s diet, sleep times and other notes

Director Amanda Kate is also the founder and owner of the Melbourne Nanny Club. Realising that her professional dream is to work and care for young children, Amanda has made it her mission to provide the best care and learning for those under her wing. Amanda is also a Doula Student with birthing assistance experience. She has completed Certificate III in Children’s Service’s and currently holds an up to date Working with Children Check, Police Check along with Epipen training & Advanced Babies & Toddlers First Aid Certificates. She utilises her business degree to run her business smoothly and properly, and having worked with a variety of families, she has established a solid word-of-mouth reputation around Albert Park and Port Melbourne over the last decade.

Amanda has looked after my son since he was 7 months old (now 2) and recently helped me with my new baby girl. My son has learnt so much from the time he has spent with Amanda. I see her as not only a nanny but also a coach to me and a teacher to my son. I would highly recommend Amanda Kate's baby care as a business and Amanda as great support to any family with newborns, toddlers or children of any age.
