Had a nice meal here on Saturday night with a party of 8, without a booking. We were treated very well, great friendly staff, no problem to accomodate us without notice. The hotel is having a lot of building work done, so the temporary dining area is fairly small and basic, but the meals were good value, served quickly and nicely cooked.

A great place to have a meal, lunch or dinner. They have a great selection of meals including a specials board and the wines they offer are extensive. Great surroundings for those who love old worlde charm as it is like stepping back in time.
