I have 2 children currently attending Annesley, but in actual fact, the whole family has been made to feel like a big part of the community. This is a school with wonderful values centered around connectedness. Parents, gransparents and special friends are all invited to contribute their knowledge and skills to the school, as a result, the children are gaining a broad view of the wider community. Highly recommened by this happy Mummy :)

My son started in reception earlier this year. He loves it. The school's flexibility about his starting date and the lovely grounds are what drew us to the school. I was concerned that he may have problems because he was slightly younger but he has gone from strengh to strength. They have "vertical classes" for some things which means he has got to know children from all year levels. Surprisingly, after three terms, all the children in the whole school seem to get along regardless of age or gender. The teaching staff are fantastic. Each child is encouraged to go at their own pace. If they are ready to progress to the next level they do. Age or "grade" is never a reason to hold a child back. I couldn't be happier. My daughter is due to start in the ELC next term. Having both on the same site is going to be great!

Our daughter started at Annesley in reception this year and we are very pleased. The class size is very small (hence the unbeatable value) meaning that she gets a lot if individual attention and that beyond the literacy and numeracy the students are able to inquire into areas of personal interest and explore class topics in great detail. The teachers are enthusiastic and caring. The school has a very inclusive community atmosphere. There are elective after school classes which vary each term but have included basketball, cooking, chess and gardening.

I have two children attending this school and am extremely happy with the environment they are in. It is a lovely, caring community. I have one child in the early learning centre - an accredited long daycare centre - and one child in the primary school. For families looking for a mid-fee school that offers a small-school experience, I'd recommend a visit.
