Trustworthy Optometrist
I was not looking forward to getting my first glasses but Aphrodite's testing was really thorough and made me feel at ease. I trust her work and will highly recommend her to my family and friends. Aphrodite made me feel comfortable from the moment I was tested till the selection of my frames. I actually really love my new glasses.

My first experience with having my eye sight checked by Aphrodite . Sadly I do NOT recommend this OPTOMETRIST .
Have had 20 years of wonderful service in another state.
Moved to QLD and booked in for my regular check up.
Aphrodite has ZERO people skills , was disrespectful in her use of language , unbelievably rough when handling my existing glasses- to my horror twisting and bending the frame only wanting to me not only to buy more frames from her BUT TELLING ME MY TIFFANY FRAME WAS RUBBISH .SHE WAS PUSHY TELLING ME I SHOULD ALSO BUY prescription sunglasses.
Beware - the sad fact is when I went to another company
and had the same eye test -they totally disagreed with what I was told by Aphrodite Livanes
Not only did I have 20-20 vision they found NO EVIDENCE AT ALL that I had the start of any cataracts as I was told by Aphrodite
Aphrodite claimed I had the start of cataracts!
I would strongly suggest to get a second opinion if you have used the eye assessment conducted by Aphrodite .
Not only am I questioning the assessment her interpersonal skills leaves a lot to be desired
I would not recommend this practice .

Very thorough. Exceptional optometrist for kids with specialist needs. Frame prices where a bit steep and it was a bit of a struggle to get my script from them when I wanted to get glasses done somewhere else.

I took my children along to Aphrodite Livanes after a recommendation from a friend of mine. They were fantastic with the way they handled the children in the testing, and very thorough. They picked up on a couple of minor problems that two of the children had that hadn't been picked up in a normal optometrical eye test. I was very impressed with their attention to detail and follow up.
