We payed for a 1 bedroom villa and were placed in a 2 BR villa, including a spa, although we didn't use the second room. The apartment was larger than I expected. Although not particularly modern, the decor was okay. There were two pools and a toddler pool within the same area. As is common, the pools were not quite warm enough for a really enjoyable swim (in October). There was no play equipment, which we possibly should have checked for before going there.

The beach at the edge of the property is nice, although when I was there, no good for running on - the sand was quite soft and grainy. The gym was basic. The location is a bit out of town, but luckily it was conveniently located near the rainforests and big banana that we wanted to go to and also a shopping centre not too far away.

Approximate cost: $130 pn

We stayed in the studio spa room with buffet breakfast while on the way to QLD. Nice room, very clean. Lovely verandah and we could see some water in the distance. It was nice to have a microwave in the room. Breakfast was quite nice and good value in the overall cost of the room.
Pool was nicely heated and comfy to swim in when we were there in October.
Only weird thing was the louvre servery style windows between the bedroom area and the bathroom, it didn't give much privacy for toilet use, not all sounds and scents do you want to share with your partner !

Approximate cost: $149
