Worst food ever tasted. Ordered veg biryani, paneer chili gravy, Punjabi dal tadka and Veg samosa yesterday. Veg biryani was without salt and not even medium spicy though ordered medium spicy for all dishes (IN SHORT TASTELESS). Panner chilli gravy so sour that could not eat as teeth started aching. Punjabi dal tadka was tasteless and we had to eat as we dint had any other options. Veg samosa was ready made just microwaved and parceled to us.. Overall the NEW MANAGEMENT served the worst food ever... HAD TO GIVE 1 STAR AS DINT HAD OPTION TO GIVE RATINGS IN MINUS.. ELSE IT WOULD BE MINUS 3 STARS....PATHETIC FOOD... WON'T EVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE...

Dinner for two on a Groupon coupon, last night. brilliant meal, lamb korma,Chicken korma. A unique experience as the staff were away at a private function so we were the only 2 people there. I am blown away that they opened for us as we had booked. The pappadams were the lightest most delicious we've ever eaten., naan so -fresh steaming hot. A delicious meal in every respect. Absolutely appalling service. We purchased a Living Social voucher for 2 people. Sounded like great value! We called to make a booking, and spoke to a polite gentleman, who gladly made our booking, saying "See you then!" as we ended the call. Imagine our surprise then, when we showed up at the time of the booking to find the restaurant closed!

We called the same number that we'd made the booking on, but the man on the other end said he didn't know what Aroma restaurant was, so we tried the number again. We got the same guy, who finally, after much prompting, remembered that he not only knew what Aroma restaurant was, but he was the owner! He mucked around for a while, telling us that they're only open Tues-Sun (it was Sunday) and that they don't open until 5pm (it was 6pm). After much swearing from his end, he finally said he's on holiday in QLD right now (which is presumably what all the Living Social money is paying for!) and he'd find out what's going on and call us back in 10 minutes.

We're still waiting for that phone call!

We tried numerous times to call back, and waited a total of an hour from the time of our booking, but he never answered the phone, and actually turned it off after a while, so he didn't have to deal with us. Their landline number has been disconnected, and any attempt to contact them since has failed.

We have recently spoken with a nearby business who told us that many Living Social customers have spoken with them about this. Apparently the restaurant has been closed for months because they are looking for a new chef. If that's the case, they shouldn't be taking bookings, knowing full well that they'll be closed when the customer arrives! Talk about wasting peoples' time.

If you're one of the unfortunate people who purchased a Living Social voucher for this place, ask them for a refund! We did, although we've noticed that they're still selling them to unsuspecting people.

I used a Livingsocial voucher which entitled us to a 3 course banquet but they wouldn't give us the third course saying first one of the curries was the extra side which we had a choice, either an extra side or the dessert, and then they said that the papadums and chutney were the third course (even though they were served with the mains). This was not what the voucher specified. The voucher said:
"Mixed Chef's Special vegetarian entree platter to share per couple, choice of chicken, vegetarian or beef main each, serve of rice each, one serve of papadums and chutney sauce to share per couple and dessert each."
But we didn't stay to argue considering the voucher itself was a good deal anyway. One of the workers said they would show me the voucher on "Groupon" that is specifically says two courses (we used Livingsocial so maybe they had two different deals going) but then when I asked that he show us after a few minutes he said his internet was too slow and wouldn't give us proof of this changed version of the deal.

The entrees were nicely presented and the rice serves were plentiful. The butter chicken although we asked for mild literally just tasted like watery cream so wasn't very flavourful so if you order it make sure it is med spice or above. The mango chicken had lots of mango puree in it and was nice. We also paid extra on top of the voucher and ordered the sweet coconut and fruit naan which I definitely recommend-it was the star item of the night.

The restaurant is very nicely presented and the staff were courteous, even if they didn't give us all that the voucher specified.

We've been to Aromas many times, as its nearby and the experience has always been positive. Friendly, efficient service and the food is consistently good. Easy parking out the front and never a problem getting a table. In fact, its usually under patronised which is surprising; the word will get out soon I'm sure, especially with the generous online deals currently offered.

One of the best food I had after long time. Perfect blend of spices and herbs enhanced the flavour of food.
Restaurant certainly lives up-to the expectations. Best place for all foodies

Lovely Indian restaurant at Isaacs shops. They also do delivery through the Eatnow app with 10% off the first order which is great. Big servings and delicious curries.

Great new Indian Restaurant in Isaacs. Only been open a couple of weeks when we went. the food was lovely and the service very good. Portions were a good size too. They do free local home delivery (min order $30). They are BYO. Loved the decor of the restaurant too. Looking forward to going back soon.
