My 2 year old sand filter split. Tried calling manufacture. Not interested, no response, no help.

A disgraceful service to say the least, sold us a gas heater for the pol which catches fire and explodes. They told us to stop using the pool until they replace the faulty heater, we stopped and now almost 18 months later we are still waiting for them to fix it or at least allow us to use it, Last month we gave up waiting, we switched the pool back on but the heater wouldn't switch on, we called pool service engineers, but none of them was able to fix it and they all informed us that the internal electronics need the manufacturer engineer, but the manufacturer agent is not doing the job and just giving us excuses. To explain further, there is a product safety recall on the heater. we were supposed to be contacted within few days to have the heater fixed, but it is now 18 months later and after multiple requests from Astral Pools as to when the repair will be carried, all I receive are excuses as to why it cannot be done. They failed to supply us with a repair or replacement date of any kind for a product which can literally explode. Astral Pools is an abomination to deal with, they literally just reply with useless stock phrases instead of providing any details - which they are legally obligated to do as this product is officially listed as unsafe with Energy Safe Victoria. All I get are excuses from them for being unable to do anything - which is a disgraceful action by a company that doesn't give a dam. My next step is consumer affairs. I strongly recommend that no one should ever use this American brand, they are a pathetic!

Really helpful staff who know their stuff. The staff member I dealt with was friendly and had great knowledge, even directing me to find some second hand equipment when they didn't have what i needed.
