18 months later googled them supposedly the best for move to tas the quote for them to pack , I did it , they outsourced mainland to Ryan removals who rang to ask if they could come a day early the next day . Turns out they had a backload from Gold Coast 1 driver turned up with truck not a container as inferred dble handled ,they called a sleeper local guy who is engaged for the area he did the box sticker and numbering hat took 4 hours aprox gave them lunch drinks and old pmg road lanterns as the heavy lifter had come Gold Coast to wagga and hardly stopped for 6 hours was told 3 hours to pack the truck rang work to tell them ile be 2 hours late . The fact that a day early meant the shed tools etc never made it the container would not have fitted them any way ,so the trailer had to be taken and tow ball fitted wasn’t my plan $700 , they left me work 15 hour day I rang to ask why a day early told by logistics manager think yourself lucky they came haha his response so apparently I could have said no add to this the ctns for artworks 20 they had 6 and they were wet on corners & I ran out of tape 1 hour in driver tells me the tape is behind all that’s packed oh sorry we didn’t feel you your’e items were being dble handled then covid hit spoke to the Atkins son who had estimated the size of container by the list and photos that realty provided , at this stage my goods have been repacked into a container by Ryan’s in Melbourne and in mid April the truck arrives two guys that were jovial and the local that helped unload $ 240 for 2.5 hours I said I would supervise placement in rooms for unloaded box’s etc the problem the list of box’s som 100 sticker rd weren't marked of by any one so 18 months later I think no I wouldn’t have got rid of xyz 4 times I tried to go through all that was stickered and came up short 8 items / box’s ile never know I relayed a phone call made to Atkins son to the removalist guys that upon a call to him Atkins he said I was angry with the world and taking it out on them , my response don’t presume to know me they were amazed as they are always told no attitude, well clearly 2 sets of rules 18 months as I have thought let it go it was a hideous experience I did ask if the $10,000 was still full price as I had packed it all bought 99 percent of cartons / tape and this is the best of all tas removals' , I now having been her for 18 months & understand why pple going back to mainland sell their possessions for next to nothing as I will if returning . Not happy jan

This Company destroyed nearly everything I own. They did not pack appropriately, went through my personal items, emptied my Jewellery from my jewellery box into cartons (many items not recovered). Smashed and destroyed items that would not fit into cartons. I will live with this destruction for the rest of my life. Please do yourself a favour and find another removalist. Save yourself the heartache!

I used atkins a few months ago to move me from one end of the state to the other & the service recieved was brilliant. They came to my home & packed all my stuff(at an extra cost) & loaded it into the truck with great care. The men were very friendly & treated my belongings as they would want their own things treated. If i ever need to move again i wouldn't hesitate to call atkins. great job
