Four weeks ago I fell down eight tiled stairs and severely lacerated my shin, cutting right through to expose my tibia. I had surgery and was in hospital & rehabilitation for a week. When I was able to return home so much of my body was hurting, my neck, shoulders, lower back and feet. Fortunately having been a patient of Dr Michael McKibbon I knew where to go to get relief. In 1978 my husband and I were in a roll over on slippery gravel roads. While we were ok we both developed different symptoms. I could not raise my arms so we headed of to see Dr Mac. I've been a patient with Dr Mack since I was born and have regularly seen him for the treatment a range of specific issues and then for general maintenance. One of the biggest differences I note after an adjustment is the clarity of thought and mind. Relief from headache symptoms has been another positive post-adjustment difference. I'm a second chiropractic patient who commence chiropractic care after a motor vehicle accident in 2004. In the 17 years since then I have used chiropractic to treat work related stress and sports injuries.

Regarding Medicare cover it is my opinion that I should be able to have direct access instead of a maximum of 5 visits via medical referral. Everyone is aware of medical antipathy toward chiropractic care, I can't see why the medical industry needs to be involved in chiropractic assessment. I'm a quite happy with the care that both professions provide.
