Great service... talked to Diane... she helped me through my booking... explained things I didn't understand... the electrician was friendly quick and helpful... highly recommend

I've noticed that all of the reviews are very polar (very happy very pissed off). Fortunately i can be in the positive group -- sort of. I called last night as my evap has a meltdown. I called around and they had some one available for this morning. Its 8.11 and there is someone here already with a/the/some part. Lets hope the new motor fixes it.

I called them last night as my solar system had died that afternoon they sent someone this morning and it was all up and running within the hour. the guy (Glen i think) knew what he was doing and its tidier now then when i had it first installed.. Thanks.

I disagree with the below comments. I have had a good run with Austec. The office staff were helpful. The electrician was a little late but I have had a good run.

After reading the reviews well this company are very expensive called out for a leaking air con said it was pads that caused problem quoted on new pads nearly $1000.00 with labour and gst. Well I bought the pads $73.00 ea x4 husband replaced pads 1/2 hour of labour. And guess what air con still leaked. So not the pads. It happens to be the seal in the over flow pipe. So I kissed $152.90 which takes me two days to earn for 15mins of wrong advice..

Two Days wasted waiting for the technician No follow up or contact from the technician advising when he would be round. Only contact we received was them advising that technician would not be around and we would have to wait until the next morning. after I reached the afternoon on the second day I contacted them.only for them to Tell me that technician may not be around until The following day. Glad I looked up reviews on them and cancelled before they wasted any more of my time. Two Days of work lost I would never treat any of our clients in such a manner. Totally unprofessional Poorly organized and no customer service. I only wish there was a minus star option.

The most appalling company I have ever dealt with. Firstly the part they fitted to an electrical pole at my house costs circa $65 (price from two quotes supplied to me by electrical wholesalers in Perth) Austec charged me $366 + GST in excess of a 430% mark-up also charged me for two employee to attend even though I was only quoted for one (apparently this was for OH&S reasons) Pity they forgot to mention that when I was quoted the labour charges for the job. Total hours charged to do the job (to fit a mains connector to a pole (and there was no electrical feed to the property by the way so no isolation's necessary) was 6 hours which according to the electricians I have working at my company is absolutely ridiculous and should have taken 1 to 1.5 hours. The Electrician allegedly arrived at my property at 2pm but actually rang me at 3.38pm to tell me he couldn't do the job as ladder wasn't big enough and he had to go and hire one. When I tried to obtain a breakdown of the of the job (nearly $1800) I was put through to the Managementthey refused to let me speak simply talking over me they were extremely rude simply saying pay the invoice in 7 days or I'll take you to court at which point they slammed the phone down. When I called back I was able to speak with another staff who simply said "I didn't want to put you through I knew that would happen" !!!! This speaks volumes. I managed to get a breakdown of costs from this staff member and queried what the Electrician had been doing for 1.38 minutes before realising ladder wasn't long enough the explanation was as follows: Electrician had to untie ladder walk through two paddocks walk back to van and Google the nearest hire shop in reality the electrician needed to untie ladder walk through on horse holding pen (20 meters wide) through a gate into the next holding yard where the pole is in the middle of the yard so a total distance of 30 meters so to get ladder from the van walk 30 meters realise ladder wasn't big enough walk back to the van and Google a hire shop took 1 HOUR AND THIRTY EIGHT MINUTES. In summary I have never encountered such an unprofessional discourteous and arrogant person in all my years in business nor have I ever been treated so badly that I have felt compelled to warn others. I can only hope that given the zero customer service skills and utter contempt for their customers you should go and do something where you don't have to liaise with people! There is more than I have written here people but hopefully this will prevent you from making a big mistake please go somewhere else.'

I called Austec this morning to fix my bathroom and pool pump. They managed to fit me in this morning. Im very happy with them.

They changed 4 down-lights and installed a data point with only 3 hours notice. I have used them for over 6 years and they have never let me down.
