We have had a very poor experience with Austnet Electrical after we asked this business to relocate our near-new split system air-conditioner for us.

In short, our air conditioner no longer works. We are still waiting on an official “diagnosis” but it appears that gas has escaped either during, or shortly after Austnet’s work.

We invited them back to fix it thinking it would be a non-issue but it is my understanding that Austnet Electrical do not have anyone with a refrigeration license to rectify the problem. This should ring alarm bells!!

We have been asking them (or their chosen contractor) to fix our air-con for some weeks now. Instead of fixing it, they have offered us approximately $300 in the hope we would go away (half what they charged us to relocate it in the first place). We have advised we don’t want $300, instead we want our air-con working again. Much of the time they don’t respond to emails, and if they do they give excuses.

We’re now in the middle of summer & without an air conditioner due to this business.

My Gas stove and Shower was once not working on saturday, we called then, and we realised there is not so many traders/ or business come out service on Saturday, and then we called Austnet, they are able to come on saturday and fixing it, thanks god.
