Extremely rude & nasty managers. And when I dared to complain they just told me to leave and even called the police on me! (The police don’t come, they must have got those supposed ‘emergency’ calls before and ignored it). And it’s not a standard PO managed by Aus Post (who agreed with me that the Umina managers’ behaviour and attitude stinks). it’s just a crowded counter at the back of the chemist. Avoid this place if you can!

I would even go as far to say it’s TERRIBLE at Umina post office

The older women that work here are so incredibly rude and grumpy I myself am a young 25 year old female and every time I have been in I go out leaving feeling negative and like I’ve done something wrong when all I’ve done is come to pick up or post something

I know try my best to avoid Umina post office at all costs

A few weeks ago I went in wanting to return an item and I’ve never done it before a woman served me and told me to “just get one of those bags over there love” giving me no proper advice on what I should pick and as I had no idea what I need to do I just picked whatever bag I then came back to the count to be served by another woman who then told me I’ve got the wrong bags but no one explained to me what I needed to start with.. so I then had to pay double than what I needed too.

Today I walked in to pick up an item that I had been left a slip for I walked in and no one greeted but the old woman at the counter grunted and glared toward me too come over to her so
I handed her my slip and she disappeared came back out look at the counter and suggest “come back later love and maybe cover up a little more” looking at my outfit which was a cropped jumper showing the smallest bit of my stomach..

The service here is horrible and every staff member I have encountered has been so incredibly rude, go to ettalong post office the staff there are far more friendlier or even make the trip out to woy woy.

The staff there at Umina should be so disappointed as an older generation in business that carry them selves like this.

Umina Beach Post Office has the best customer service I have ever had from a post office , the staff are all ways friendly and helpful even at peak times of the year
