Went with them for a deck build project which started first week of October, they couldn't provide the original materials and was offered with alternatives which we agreed on, work suddenly stopped without communicating or anything, just left everything.

Contacted them after a couple of weeks and said that the materials (which was the replacement) was not available. Started going back and forth with different options, said the original option will be available, which we agreed to, then waited again with no materials or build getting started.

Came back again after following up and told us we need to choose materials which are going to be sourced from Bunnings. Which we agreed on too!

It's December 13, 2 months later and build still hasn't started. Project administrator doesn't like getting followed up and wanted me to resolve it directly with the builder.

I get that delays happen, but there was bad communication all throughout and frankly I have a feeling that we were deprioritised and just got yanked around.

I wouldn't recommend them at all.

I just had 40 square metres of "Eden" synthetic grass laid over pavers in my backyard.
The look of the product is fantastic but I wish to extend my thanks to the whole team at AOL. The sales consultant actually listened to me and was able to accommodate my wishes even though there were other options. The technician who carried out the final check measure was a delightful person and extremely nice to my mother who was on site while I was at work that day. The two installers were meticulous and professional in their work. The "experience" impressed me greatly and I'm happy to say that I found an Aussie company that can deliver on their stated time frames and promised performance.

Hi there
Last week I had my artificial lawn installed by Sam & Ciaran. I wanted to send my highest compliments to them both. They were punctual, professional, friendly and demonstrated great care and consideration for the install. They had to bring everything through my home to gain access to the lawn area, and they were wonderfully careful, and completely cleaned up after themselves as though it were their own home.

They worked tirelessly all day to get the lawn down (and it looks fabulous!), and they were a pleasure to have around. I wanted to extend my great satisfaction and thanks to them both.

I recently had dealings with Australian Outdoor Living when they laid some artificial turf in the backyard of my house in Sydney's outer Western suburbs. I only spend a few weeks a year at this address, however, my three adult children live there an also my granddaughter. It has transformed what was a totally shabby, unusable area, full of pot holes, building waste and unsightly unkempt grass into a clean, open area where my 3 year granddaughter can play with great delight in any weather conditions.
The installation team came on time when promised and they were courteous, helpful and kept my daughter informed as progress went along. The had extremely difficult access, most of the labour intensive work was done by hand as there was no entrance that would allow any machinery into our small space and this was done without complaints, and when complete they left their work area clean and tidy.
I could not fault their customer service ethos and I am confident that if any problems were to arise I could contact the team at Australian Outdoor Living and a representative would be on my door ASAP.

I would just like to say many thanks to you for your prompt attention to our slightly faulty blinds. They were replaced today and your workmen were here early, after a phone call to us 15 minutes before they arrived.

I would like to congratulate you and your company for your efficient approach from start to finish - We ordered the blinds last year and were told someone would come for a final measure, someone would phone approx 2 weeks after this to arrange a time for fitting and we were delighted when all this happened and the blinds were fitted as promised.

The quality of the blinds is obvious, as everyone who comes here comments on them. When we noticed the "weld" separating, I phoned you thinking a glue might be available for us to repair them. To have them replaced was not expected. The follow up was just the same as when we first ordered the blinds - a delightful girl to answer the phone, a pleasent conversation to solve our problem, a phone call back from you to let us know the new blinds were ready and a time they would be fitted - then another call to let us know the delivery time had changed by an hour.

We are in our late 60's and I must say that your company is the most efficient with the best communication that we have ever dealt with. Over the years we have spent many days just waiting for things to arrive (or not arrive), had days off work in case they arrive and we are just grateful to get the service you provide.

After booking in a consultant we were introduced to Peter Lewis. Peter showed great understanding as to our needs and what we wanted to accomplish. He showed us the benefits, the workmanship and the quality of your product. He answered our questions and was very patient in helping us make the decision to purchase your Australian made product.
Our blinds were finally installed by your installer, Vince. He too showed his expertise and took pride in his work as he was very particular to complete the job.

We got outdoor blinds installed. They are a bit on the expensive side, however they are custom made and are of high quality. The blinds were ready sooner than expected and I was happy that my wind-tunnel patio is now wind-free. The installer was professional and was a trooper to install 5 large blinds on his own.

On a side note, we received a discount for advertising outside of our house, however the sign was removed by council.

Australian owned and made products - this is awesome in a time of cheap imported stuff. Great customer service from the office staff, sales reps to installers. highly recommend!
