Quality Checking of Equipment before goods are delivered with regards to Client Safety is recommended.

My experience:

Equipment was advertised to registered Professional Pilates Instructors.

The invoice states 4 – 6 weeks delivery. The reformer/halftrapeze arrived 10 weeks later, the wunda chair arrived 4 months later, some of the accessories ordered and paid for had not arrived 5 months later i.e. The Spring bar, the safety chain, the Wunda chair moon box and the Gondola Poles . Quality was reasonable but not functional equipment for a professional Pilates studio delivered equipment Wunda Chair, Reformer and Half Trapeze the following main issues, amonst others:

Amongst a number of issues raised are the Reformer Metal Component holding Spring bar and Footbar rusting after 2-3 months from delivery. The Wunda Chair Spring attachments to the main timber foot pedal is connected to a metal bolt at a location where a client’s foot may be placed and thus potentially a client could injure feet or tear clothing, by catching on the metal.

The safety chain for the push through bar was purchased but has not been delivered yet, the safety chain/strap stops the Push through Bar slipping and hitting a client on the head. The Push Through Bar hits metal bolts when pushed forward through the Half Trapeze, thus potentially reducing spring life and making a sound when pushed through. It is not a clean swing of PTB. The converter bed for the half trapeze does not cover the full length of the reformer as ordered, and it is uneven platform differing in fit from one end to the other, the timber Gear converters, within the reformer, stop the mat converter from snugly fitting in the reformer groove, thus meaning at places the mat converter sticks out by approx. 1cm, and then middle there is a snug fit. There is a approx. 3mm gap between the reformer bed and the mat converter, and the surface is not flat meaning any accessories placed on the bed are not stable.

The equipment design is restrictive, less than 40% of the repertoire of the Pilates Method as taught by Professional Pilates Instructors that have been training over a year in Pilates alone cannot be taught as the delivered equipment design restricts client movement.

Update 15th March 2018:
---------------------------------- --

The requested company has sent me an email today requesting I remove this post and is threatening to sue me for defamation. The original post was made BEFORE any feedback re: complaints or re:social media posts, was received from APC. Everything in this post is true experience and is not false. I have reworded the information to be clear.

The company has offered to make changes to the equipment delivered after receiving my complaints, but as there already has been a big delay in delivery of equipment, I need to run my own business with equipment bought through trusted suppliers and the original order has not been fulfilled with due care.
