letters getting soaked when not pushed completely into a huge letter box which seems cavelier considering Hobarts weather and sudden rain squalls. But the last straw was when a closed box containing spices was left outside our front gate exposed to the elements and no note to explain or excuse. The postage for this small light box was a hefty
$12.50 so i phoned to complain and this experience really
was disappointing as the follow up return phone call i was promised never occurred and when i phoned again the attitude was even worse. Eventually when i asked to escalate my complaint i was phoned back by the same call handkler and told me that the depot eas NOT going to phone me and there for i would have to make do with his very weak apology or get in youch with the Ombudsman !
This couldnt care less attitude is typical of a monolithic monopoly but was a huge disappointment none the less.. I wamder how many others have had sinilar experiences.
