DO NOT CALL THIS GUY. He doesn't deserve even one star. The worst of the worst tradesman I’ve ever had. He is rude and full of lies. He said he’s been roof restoration business for 24 years, but he seems just got skills of running away with money after terrible painting job. He said MY ROOF IS LOOK LIKE A SHIT BECAUSE IT WAS SHIT BEFORE HE PAINTED. This my first time writing review, hoping less people suffers by this guy.

Early of this year, he gave me a quote of $4000 for cleaning, seal and three coats of paint. First day he asked me to pay $2000, and spent full day for cleaning and seal. I’m ok with that. Next day, he asked another payment of $2000, before starting the painting. I trusted him and paid full amount. He came around mid day with 4 tubs of 15L Dulux paint, and started painting. I asked why he didn’t do pre-coat, and he said Dulux paint doesn’t require pre-coat. (Actually it does require) Anyway, I trusted him as long as he paints three coats, I thought it should be ok. Around 3pm, he was packing up, and I thought he would come back next day for another coat. But he said he already painted three coats. He did first and second coats with first spray, and did another very thin spray for the third coat. We had some argument about that, but I wasn’t able to convince him to paint another coat. I asked for leaving the leftover paint for patch up later. He left two tubs, and both tubs had half paint left. There were two empty tubs in the bin. That means he just used 3 tubs of 15L. My house is 4 beds 2 baths 2 cars, single story house. He painted three coats with 3 tubs of 15L within a half day. Can you believe this? Of course, the result is terrible. I can see white marks on all round roof, and he didn’t even paint back corners. I sent photo to him, and asked to fix up. He said he will come back following week, and do another coat. But he didn’t come. I called him many times, because he didn’t answer or called back. After many calls and messages, he finally answered and said he will do it end of May. I trusted him and waited one month. He didn’t come. After many calls and messages again, he said he was saying June, not May, and said he will do it on 29/06. I trusted him and waited another month again, and as expected, he is saying he is not going to do another coat. He said YOUR ROOF IS LOOK LIKE A SHIT BECAUSE IT WAS SHIT BEFORE HE PAINTED.

Very disappointed with the response I received back from the owner about an enquiry about getting a new roof paint. He was not helpful or professional at all. I note that most of the good reviews are few months old and many current reviews are not so good based on lack of professionalism. It makes one wonder if the quality of the job has changed also. I feel he is very picky about the jobs he accepts( the easy ones). Well I feel I want a tradesman who is experienced with more complex jobs. Maybe we should be picky with whom we get to do jobs for us also. I suggest try another roofing company, I am.

Called for roof paint in February. They done a patchy job and he didn’t return our calls or texts. Shop around and avoid these guys. Choose wisely.
