1 review about Australian Shareholders Association

verified email - 07 Apr 2009

I am a Perth member of this National organisation (it costs $105 p.a.). They have branches in all capital cities. Stuart and Alita (head office) personally look after the 8000 members. The ASA offers courses on managing your own superannuation fund, and many aspects of financial management. I attend several meetings a month (the free entry more than pays for my membership). These meetings might be guest speakers from companies or financial analysts. The ASA also run courses on how to analyse companies financial reports and thus make better decisions about buying shares in that company. It is good value being a member, and you meet like minded people.
