Went here with my work mates, there was a great service (the waitress was heaps friendly)! I had the fish and chips and the serving was quite decent, but expected a little more for the price you're paying.

The Australia youth hotel is such an awesome hotel to dine at, I took my wife and kids for dinner and we ordered their steak, chips, salad for $15.80 and it was beautify cooked and well plated, my children had the chicken n chips which was also cooked nice and chicken was very moist, great staff and fast service, highly recommend and will return in near future.

I have been there several times for dinner and it was absolutely fantastic. There is a restaurant at the back of the hotel which has a very nice atmosphere. The staff are professional and friendly. Compliments to the chef as the food is delicious.

As for the other parts of the hotel there is a nice bar if you feel like a drink or you can play pool upstairs.

Definitely a place to go!

Lovely hotel with a great internal ambiance. They have an extensive range of beers on tap and in the bottle, and some fascinating paintings on the walls, it's worth a wander about, as it's like a museum really. The food is good and honest Australian fare and was served hot and quickly. The staff are all Proffesional and pleasant and make recommendations if you want to try something different beer wise.
It's a great name The Australian Youth Hotel, it's not young, the art is certainly not for the young, and the clientele were mostly middle aged Proffesionals, so don't be put off by the name but bring your platinum credit card and have a great night out. Glebe is very close to Sydney CBD so catch a taxi.

Have spent many great afternoons drinking at the AYH. Staff are friendly and food is good and a good price. Great place to catch up with friends.

Have a great steak and salad deal every week. Lots of fun for casual dining and the staff are lovely. Plenty of other cheap menu options as well. We all ate and drank for under $20 which was great and being a pub nobody minds a big group having some fun!

This is a great pub, the food is good the drinks aren't to expensive. It has a great atmosphere and is very stylish. I'm held a few functions in the upstairs room and they have all been great nights.

The food is fine and charged at reasonable price. However, it is a little bit difficult to get attention from the waitress if sit in the backyard area.

Have eaten here twice this year and enjoyed the meals both times - each were in large groups, one at lunch and one at dinner and both eating fom a fixed menu (3 choices per course). Friendly, attentive staff, great flavours, a unique combination of foods, decent wine and coffee.

AYH staff are so efficient and the food is so delicious as well.they are so prompt and quick in service with very pleasent ambience around.i go there most of the fridays evenings with office staff.
