Came in for a Photo Shoot and i must say had a wonderful time. The photographer was kind, funny and made me feel really great about myself. The images came out outstanding if i dont mind saying so myself :-) and the service was fantastic. Truly a great photographic company if you are needing portraits taken.

Avalon City Imaging is the best photographic experience we have had when it comes to photography. My girlfriend and I came in on a voucher and had such a great time, even I couldnt believe how much fun it was. The Make up artist was lovely and knew exactly what my girlfriend wanted. And looked absolutely gorgeous. The photographer was hilarious and full of excitement. An absolute pleasure to have him photograph us. We both felt very comfortable and have been recommending this studio since our great experience. When we returned a week later, we were completely blown away with the result. The images were fantastic with spectacular effects added to each individual image. The consultant was more then helpful with our decision making and collaborating something special to put in our home. Our images are displayed proudly on our wall and we really couldnt be any happier. This company truly deserves a great review and we will continue recommending these guys to everyone we know. I purchased a 'Deal' for a photo shoot with this business. I would NOT recommend them. I hope the below review helps others avoid the inconvenience I ended up in. Initially the shoot itself was fine and the photos I ended up with are for the most part fine. Its the follow up customer service which is bad. Firstly my initial appointment to view the images was cancelled with only a few hours notice. It then took me about 2 weeks of almost constant contact to schedule a second appointment. The contact person seemed to have little interest in actually getting me in. In the end it was about 8 weeks before the shoot and seeing the images. Once I finally managed to get a next date (in my lunch break one day) when I arrived to see the images they had forgotten about my appointment and attempted to reschedule it again. I refused as I had now been stuffed around twice and asked that they re-attend the office to show me my photos. The staff arrived after me wasting 20 minutes waiting for me, showed me the pictures and we negotiated which I would purchase and for how much. They promised to send me an invoice via email that day so I could pay. It took another two weeks before the photographer called me to get my postal address to send me the invoice via post. I did not pay until I had a copy of the order. Fortunately the photos were actually ready on the day. However, despite being promised that the retouchers would tidy up the photos there were visible clothing tags on three pictures. These were boudoir shots and the tags were white on black lingerie. Given one was blown up to an A3 size print these were very obvious. When I complained I was informed that: 'The retouchers don't do anything unless client has specifically requested certain things being taken off etc... so the whole point of the viewings is for you to choose your images and finalise all requests on the day'... forgive me but I assumed that when I was assured that the retouchers would tidy up the photos I did not need to point these things out! I made it clear I was not pleased and was told... 'Yes we both had a look at them, and generally that's something a customer needs to advise us of removing... it doesn't really fall under skin tone and slimming etc. What we are happy to do is send those images back to the graphic designers and have them remove those tags. And cover the fee/cost. However we can't re print them for you as its already going to cost the studio sending them back to the graphics team'. I received this email over 2 weeks ago and still have not received any images. I would have thought a photography studio which apparently takes the time to do skin tone and slimming would have been able to remove very obvious clothing tags which effectively ruin the whole image. I have had professional shoots before and have never had to tell a company to remove a tag which frankly should have been noticed during the shooting process. In short I do NOT recommend this company and believe they fully deserve this bad review due to bad customer service and the fact that they apparently expect their clients to do their jobs. Its a pity as the photographer was decent and the images are quite nice. But its too much hassle for a poor end result.
