I used to go here all the time on my way to Tafe each morning. Excellent coffee and nice selection of sweets. The staff were always really lovely and up for a chat which I enjoyed. I've never actually sat in but it is a really funky little place. Highly rem=commend this cafe.

I only discovered Awkward Coffee Lounge today as I was on my way to an appointment. I was looking for something quick to eat as I hadn't had breakfast. It is such a quirky place full of interesting items to look at everywhere you look. There is a wall of shelves filled with interesting items that are retro, arty and fun. There is a good selection of food and drinks. I had no idea what I wanted but they suggested a toasted ham, cheese and tomato sandwich which was just perfect. I think next time I would like to get coffee and one of their freshly baked cookies.
