This is a good Thai restaurant. The entrees are great and mains good. The takeaway menu is pretty good.

Having recently moved to Canberra, we thought we'd check out the best local Thai restaurants nearby, and Ayutthaya appeared the best based on local reviews. We were sorely disappointed by our experience with this restaurant, the food was bland, with the Penang Curry particularly inadequate - in one full meal, there were about four small pieces of meat - hardly value for a $15 approx meal. Will not be going there again!

This is a really nice Thai restaurant. their money bags and musaman curry is really really nice. the service is great and the staff really friendly. and you get a nice view of the lake.

The food here was ok. We ordered three different dishes, but they all seemed to taste the same, even though they were meant to have different sauces. The quality of the food was good. The meats were of good quality and the vegetables were fresh. The service was slow though. We had to wait almost an hour for our food to come and others who arrived after us got their meals before. The waitress was nice and did apologise for this. The location is nice on the lake, but the restaurant could do with a facelift.
