The owner seemed to have made an good effort to give the restaurant an Indonesian look in terms of style of furniture and paintings on the walls. Cheaper than other budget cafes (under $9 per main meal), the food was okay but the service was a bit incompetent today. The ribs we had included generous sized portions of meat with a tasty sauce but the chicken soup was very ordinary and bland, containing a couple of strands of chicken and a few old pieces of vegetables.

The food is quite affordable [$8.50- $9 on average]. Also, they are quite thoughtful as well, as they have prepared chilli sauce on the side of the dish in case you have ordered a spicy dish and then have 'second thoughts'. The dish with the fried barrumundi is quite plentiful and is delicious! Not to mention its famous marinated ribs- DELICIOUS!

The only downside is that the waiting time can be quite long if there are a lot of customers.

This is a student meals cafe that specialises in Indonesian food. The prices are low, service is ordinary and tastes ok to average.
Another student hangout location but I don't think I will be back anytime soon as there is too much to eat in Melbourne and unless it was exceptionally good.

They serve very nice beef ribs. Must try! the price is reasonable ($12). they also have selection of other food- fried fish and grilled chicken which is quite nice. If you are after Indonesian food near CBD area you could visit this restaurant!

This restaurant is a hidden gem. I love Indonesian Chinese food and especially if it is good value for money. The restaurant serves up a great variety of food - beef ribs, deep fried barramundi, chicken etc. This restaurant is also not for the faint-hearted. The level of spiciness gets quite high!
